Nice hotel with big rooms
pool area
This hotel was excellent. It's not too far away from the centre of town although renting transport is a good idea here. The staff are polite and helpful. Check-in/out very fast and easy. Lovely pool area, okay breakfast selection, clean rooms, very comfortable bed, good shower (although water not hot, warm)possibly the smallest gym in the world. This is my new choice of hotel in Vientiane, good value for money.

Okay hotel but not in a great area
Nice clean outdoor pool
An OK hotel about 20 minute walk from downtown. Our room overlooked the pool and garden area plus a residential area where everyone must have had at least two dogs and one of them was constantly barking. The hotel staff were nice and helpful. I did not like being charged for some ice cubes. Breakfast was just plain basic. We thought the hotel was overpriced by 25%

Pleasant hotel on the edge of town.
Large rooms. Pool. Staff speak English.
The hotel is out of town. Probably a 20 minute walk from the centre. It has a swimming pool. The staff are friendly enough and speak English which is a plus as hardly anyone else in Laos seems to. I doubt it's the best hotel in town but it's good value for the money and has all the expected facilities: free wifi, safe deposit box, air con, etc.

Comfortable Hotel with helpful staff.
Comfortable and spacious room.Nice swiming pool, and ever willing helpful staff.
the hotel is located far from the city center where most of the action is.this is the main reason why we decided to cancel the last 2 nights at this hotel and changed to av hotel at city center.after saying that,we must said that the hotel altough is a bit old, but can be considered clean and comfortable with spacious room.the staff were very helpful and more than willing to arrange for tranportation for us.the cost was slightly on high side.they also allowed us to keep our heavy luggage when we went over to nong khai for a night. one more disadvantage is the surrounding areas which is dusty.

Old hotel with nice pool, friendly staff.
Spacious bedroom, nice swiming pool and friendly staff and manager.
Our group of six persons arrived quite early from Kuala Lumpur via Airasia and was before the normal check in time, however, the manager was accommodative and allowed us to check in.He was also very helpful and immediately arranged for a half day city tour for us. The hotel is old and need touch-up, but conditions is still clean. The bedroom is also comfortable. However, the locvation is slightly far off from the City center where all the action is.
