Solo travelers United States of America, March 01, 2012	A little worn, but charming still Staff are so nice and helpful 7.7 this is the third ramayana group hotel i've stayed in. it's got the beautiful artwork that the others have, and the rooms are comfortable and well kept. still, this one is a bit tired and could use some sprucing up. it's not as nice as the ramayana boutique in luang prabang, but it's still a comfortable enough choice. the staff however treated me very kindly and were extremely helpful in my efforts to mail things back to the us.

This hotel is little far away from the mekong river, which is district for foreigner. There are two parking lot, one for the motorcycle, which has security guard, and another one for the cars. Bad breakfast buffet, you have to be as creative as Shakespeare to even eat more than 15 minutes, because option is too limited. Shower booth was bad too, toilet was unique but water is too cold, they should switch the sink and shower head. Because sink only gives hot water and shower had only gives really cool water. It reminds me the life back in Alaska. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: There is victory gate right infront of it. They will ask you to pay for the entrance fee to go on top of it. But it's not worth the money value, and the oxygen it takes you to climb.

Solo travelers United Kingdom, February 13, 2012	Lovely hotel but a bit distant Great staff and nice rooms 7.3 This hotel has nice staff who provide a very Laosian level of service - all smiles! The hotel is large and has a good buffet breakfast, with some nice on-site facilities. However the rooms are a touch dated and the main problem is the location. It is near the Vientiane version of the Arc de Triumphe - a major tourist destination. However the main centre and almost all the other sites and infrastructure are a fair walk away.
