Modern hotel close to the centre of town

Check-in was fast and efficient. We were welcomed with a beverage and our bags were promptly taken up to our rooms. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern and we appreciated the large balconies overlooking the city. The breakfast buffet choices were great (mostly chinese options) but would have preferred more Thai or Laotian options. Good value hotel in the quieter part of town but within walking distance to everything.

Hotel close to center of Vientiane, but not close to riverside.
Rather new hotel, nice equipped rooms, but the beds are rather hard, not really comfortable.
Breakfast is in a very nice setting outside, but quality is asianstyle - rather basic, not really good.

clean, efficient but soulless rooms. as true for many other hotels in laos, the reception is often polite but clueless about the hotel's surroundings, nearby sights etc. the included breakfast is acceptable. the kitchen staff were kind enough to prepare a special veggie dish for us - otherwise most of asian breakfast food is non-veg. the business centre is free to use - a great feature!
Hotel Feature Tip:
A few computer workstations are available for free use, Internet and all.

Rooms in front building street side are very loud. Room has no charm, but the furniture are very nice; something is missing.
A lot of staff at the reception, but nobody speaks English to answer questions. They are very friendly!
Breakfast: a lot of warm food, but eg. Eggs were cold, also there staff does not speak English
Travel tip:
Book a room in the second building, not street side

The staff provides excellent service and they are all smiles.

great location for sightseeing

wifi only accessible in lobby and very poor signal especially in the evening.breakfast average.however very convenient for walking around sightseeing.the hotel seemed to have alot of mosquitos in the public areas.
Restaurant Tip:
if you fancy a coffee and cake there is the scandinavian bakery close by in the square-turn left out of hotel and keep walking until you come to the square. bakery to the right.

they have cheap bikes to rent, staff were very helpful with everything usually let us use their internet for free. amazing setting. lovely pond and ducks to look out on as you're walking to and from your room, good breakfast
