Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Lovely, clean hotel in very convenient location
Design, cleanliness, location and front staff
9.7
Most helpful front staff with excellent English. Traditional but modern design with nice rooms, bathrooms, and dining room. Can walk to most areas of interest, sandwiched between two interesting temples. When distances are further staff can arrange transportation with hotel vehicles.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Check out both temples on either side of the hotel.

Lovely hotel with great location
Nice luxurious and comfortable room

really enjoyed the room. had a lot of space. loved the couch and had plenty of tv channels to choose from. the staff were very friendly. i will recommend this hotel to whoever comes to vientiane and can afford it. it's really worth the money.
Restaurant Tip:
If you walk around, there are actually quite a lot of places to eat. There's a restaurant at a corner right down the road (if you turn right on the road right outside the hotel) which sells noodles and it's pretty good. Just go to where all the locals go.

Lovely Hotel with good location
Very nice and helpful staff
8.7
located near the nice pubs, restaurants and sights of the town but yet not being noisy or rowdy, salana is in a good spot. the hotel prices are reasonable and the meals provided were not bad. a possible tip for improvement would be the communication of requests from the staff in one shift to the other.

Best Hotel in Vientiane
Perfect location, plentiful and varied breakfast. English speaking, clean and modern.

We received warm welcome upon arrival and the courtesies and helpfulness from the staff never ended. They were always there for the smallest detail. The location provided us with easy access to walking to sights and restaurants and the river. awe would return to this hotel anytime.
Travel tip:
The Hueng Hong Vocational Training School for Women - a weaving school - is a quick 3K Tuk-Tuk ride on the same road as Salana Hotel. Very interesting to see weaving and dying in action and helping disadvantaged women at the same time.

Nice room and nice location
Nice hotel with good location
9.3
the hotel is nicely fitted and only three minutes walk to the night market at the mekong river bank. this hotel is located in the most posh area in vientiane and there are lots of bars and restaurants closely. the hotel staff went out of their ways to be helpful. i forgot my charger to my netbook in the hotel when i checked out and they made great effort to have it delivered to the airport for me. that i call first class service. it is great four star hotel with great personal service, thank you salana.

Very efficient and friendly
Friendly, nice sculptures, quiet but convenient location

This was a very up market hotel in a very convenient location. The hotelt was extremely quiet yet only a few minutes walk from most off the places you might want to see. We had a view of of the monastery opposite from our window. Quiet but convenient location A rather nice touch was a selection of sculptures scattered around.
Travel tip:
Be brave if hiring bicycles in Asia when you are tall.
