Very efficient and friendly
Friendly, nice sculptures, quiet but convenient location

This was a very up market hotel in a very convenient location. The hotelt was extremely quiet yet only a few minutes walk from most off the places you might want to see. We had a view of of the monastery opposite from our window. Quiet but convenient location A rather nice touch was a selection of sculptures scattered around.
Travel tip:
Be brave if hiring bicycles in Asia when you are tall.

Best hotel in Khon Kaen that we have found.
Clean, like new appearance, all the comforts of a five star hotel in the states.

This is the second time we have stayed in the Pullman hotel. When we stay in Khon Kaen we will stay there from now on. The service was great, the breakfast incredible and we could not have had a better time at the hotel.
Shopping Tip:
This hotel is very close to the Central Plaza, which is the main shopping mall in Khon Kaen.

it is a small hotel though, the service is marvellous. all staff including housekeepers never fail to greet you with a welcoming smile. the hotel is flanked by two temples and the surrounding is quiet. the only letdown is the lack of pool and garder for afternoon tea.

One reviewer remarked that this hotel is ten minutes from the centre of town. But that depends on what you consider the centre of town. If you want convenience to restaurants, craft shops and the Mekong River then the Salana hotel is an ideal choice. It is more expensive than some alternative venues but in Vientiane it is a matter of you get what you pay for.
Shopping Tip:
Around the neighbouring streets are a range of craft shops. Many are outlets for not-for-profits. In all cases they have an excellent range of unusual and very Lao gifts.
