Great place for night life. Close to busy streets and city life, but away from the noise. Great view by the river. Breakfast was ok, but great view uptop. Massages are clean professional and relaxing. Great gym for Laos!

I picked this hotel as I was travelling last minute and it was a little cheaper than the alternatives. I didn't realize that this hotel is 10-15 min from the central riverfront area of town. The rooms are large, clean if uninteresting. Shower has no separation from the bathroom - so once used the floor will remain wet.
On the positive side - The rooftop restaurant does have a nice view. There is a new gym that I didn't get a chance to use. Airport transfer was prompt and clean.

Hotel a little weathered but still nice, great location, and great staff.
only thing I would say that is the bed was extremely hard.
No restaurant on premises but plenty close by.

hotel was okay... nice staff. tried to be accomodating when i had some problems with the wifi but they were not responsive in a timely manner and were generally not as attentive as i would like at any hotel. when i am speaking to you about something.. by all means put down your phone as stop texting... the clerk at the front counter couldn't seem to do so when i spoke to her.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Can walk to night market and the backpacker/tourist zone in less than 10 minutes along the banks of the Mekhong river.

No frills hotel but comfy, great view from the restuarant to see the sun go down with Lao beer, close to facilities and night markets etc.Value for money.

Nice hotel... good enough... comfortable bed .. hotel is showing it's age... and the staff tries..but they are not highly attentive (except the driver, doorman). The internet never worked properly... and the hotel blamed the Thai internet... it was important to me because I had work to do and it was my only way to communicate. The breakfast was not worth getting up for...

This hotel is ok, but not more.
Its far from city center, and the “tuck tuck drivers” in Laos, are terrible when its come to “steel” money from Tourists.

great view of river from 5th floor restaurant for breakfast and evening meal.
good gym facilities.
less good points:
rooms not great - dark furniture
reception staff a bit lackadaisical
not as plush and central as some other hotels for the same price in vientiane. but the restaurant river view makes up for this. i'd stay again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Watch the model airplanes every evening along the riverside just down from the hotel

a little run down but generally a good hotel with character. the view of the mekong from the 5th floor restaurant was great; the staff were efficient and friendly; the room was well appointed and there were a variety of bona fide massage treatments.
recommended.
Restaurant Tip:
Just down the road is a restaurant favoured by expats (often a recommndation!) called the Spirit House. The food we had was delicious.
