Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Good location, moderate services
its location, resonable price and easy-going atmosphere
6.7
I stayed there for two nights. The room was clean enough with large windows but one that disappointed point was the water dosage of the shower. It trickled from the shower head all the time.
The breakfast, it was included but only two slices of toasts, two eggs and instant coffee or Lipton tea.
Others were fine; its location and easy-going staffs.

This will be my worst stay in Laos. Something was wrong with the bed, I started to feel the itchiness once I lay down, didn't know was the bed bugs problem or cleanliness problem that totally ruin my sleep. On the other side, Toilet was big but not bright enough bringing me very insecure feeling. Myself killed not less than 10 mosquito in the room in a night time, understanding Laos do have lots of mosquito but the hotel was really not well managed.

The room was basic - and mine had no window and no fan, which was a problem if I did not want to run the aircon. Drinking water provided was awful.

I enjoyed my time staying here. The hotel was clean and the room was also quite clean. I stayed in a windowless room and it was fine. It had air con, small fridge. The bathroom was also clean.
I stayed in room 302 and 201 and they were both the same.
The staff were helpful but not overly friendly or welcoming. Just did their job and that's it. There was a free breakfast in the morning which you pick from a few set choices. Free internet in the lobby too which I used.
Nightlife Tip:
The windowless room, 201 had glass bricks high up that faced into the hallway. Not a problem at all with privacy but the light coming in at night was a pain. If it bothers you, maybe just turn the hallway light off.

Room is big enough but not hotel service.

It is old. Unlike to hotel style, it looks like a hostel. Once I saw the loge of Lonely Planet Logo, I did regret. It may be good for backpackers as it is reasonable price compared to nearby hotel.(This country hotel is quite expensive.) Mosquito is a problem for sleep. Cannot sleep well, finally buy mosquito smoke but not very useful. First room wifi is not able to be received, but staff said no room can changed as fully occupied. Next day can change but wifi speed is suck, poor. Even use online for google mail, it's unacceptable slow. Towel isn't washed white enough. I think the bed also not really clean, as it makes me itch. You had better take you own towels. No hair dryer, he told us it is not good facility as this so-called hotel. Breakfast is poor. Eggs with 2 breads + instant coffee or tea. Very disappointed
Restaurant Tip:
This city is full of western people for relax, bar is everywhere. but Disco is a bit far away. Night club also far.
Locals told me a club called "Marina club", I didn't try but she said is good. Just on the road to airport. You may try try.
Restaurant named "Khop Chai Deu", 3-decks building. You can hear good live music at ground floor. Don't order Laos food, it tastes bad. Western food is excellent for most of restaurants.

Fantastic location, great value.
Very central location, excellent value, cheerful staff.

Bang in the centre of Vientiane and less than $30 per night. Clean room, fairly basic but fine for the price. Firm bed, plenty of room. Street was rather noisy (our room was at the front). Staff were helpful and cheerful - we booked in for an additonal night later on our holiday. Breakfast is not included.
Restaurant Tip:
Try the open-air restaurants down the street for fresh grilled fish! For breakfast, turn left out of the hotel and find the Sabaidee cafe on the corner for breakfast.

Great location & clean rooms
8.7
The room was clean & comfortable although the spring bed is not very good for us. Harder mattresses would be better for the more mature folks like us.....
It would be better if the hotel could serve breakfast much earlier as we had to miss 2 breakfasts when we left the hotel early in the morning. They only serve at 7.30am
The TV is quite new & there are lots of channels!
It is in a great location, located very near to the Mekong river & nite market & eating areas. also within walking distance to most of the tourist spots.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Walkable to most of the popular eating areas,Wat Sisaket, Ho Phra Teo temple, Mekong river nite market, Talat Sao morning market & Patuxai monument.
Street stalls & small shops have the best Lao food...

Overal a very bad experinece.
The rooms are ok but we had rats in the ceiling and we could not sleep during the noght. The reaction of the staff at our commplain was to say that they can not help us in any way (like changing the room) and we have to deal with it.
The breakfast is really poor. 2 eggs prepared in different ways, 2 slices of toast breat and coffee.
The staff was very rude and completely unhelpfull.
