Best Western Taipa, Macau
There is bus stop located close to the hotel location.
The bus provide free shuttle every 30 minutes to go to The Venetian and City of Dreams. Please be aware that the last free shuttle on the week days only up to 18.30 and come back to the hotel at 19.10.

The hotel located at Taipa area. If you would like to travel to see the old building such as A Ma Temple up to churches built during Portugeese heritage, you can catch the bus no. 11 and 33. The hotel location name was Flower City. The bus fare was MOP 4.2 for bus no. 33 and $ 3.2 for bus no. 11.
Here in Macao, they also accepted HKD (Hongkong Dollars) with 1 HKD = 1 MOP (Macao Dollar). To pay the bus fare, please equip your self with small money because the bus driver will not give you back the change to you.
Most of the Macao people can't speak English. To avoid you get lost in your destination area, you need to ask the direction so often to them and they will communicate back to you using body languange.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Taking the bus no. 33 and no. 11 you can travel around Colonial area. Bus no. 11 last stop was located at A Ma Temple. From this A Ma temple if you are interested in exploring the old building, you can go through the sign. You will be able to find the St. Lawrence church, see the St. Joseph ceminary, St. August's church... It will take time around half day from A Ma Temple up to Serenado Square by walking.
Using bus no. 33 you can stop by at Serenado Square...

Motel standard
Proximity to Taipa village. Shuttle bus to ferry terminal. Good, firm bed.

The quality of the rooms is equivalent to motel standard. While the bed was very good, nice and firm, the fitout in the room is tired, showing signs of wear and tear and in need of refurbishment. No separate shower in the bathroom and only one measly piece of soap on arrival. Overall, barely hanging onto its three star rating, if you only want to sleep and spend not a lot of time in your room, then it is adequate.
Restaurant Tip:
Come out of the hotel and take the second road to the left on the roundabout and wander down a very picturesque street to the old village where there are many small cafes and restaurants.

This hotel is a bit our off town, is 25min walking distant to dream city. by taxi cost about HK 15.00. make sure you get the hotel name in chiness or ask before you jump in to the taxi. from Air part tahe the dream city shutter. this is cost saving and thenm that a taxi to the hotel just cost you HK18.00 :-). only recommand to stay at your last day of the trip. because is need to the Airport. room is OK So So. hotel is old but also have casino in side if you just want to spend money on gambering. 3 star hotel. not much facility that why low cost. but still good to stay for a night or two... around you still can find food and drink with 5 min walk a cross the stree also some shop.not much to see at Tapai. so book it now for budget hotel.online is cheaper then walk in. this is the same for all hotel.

best western taipa is accessible to all areas that tourists may need such as restaurants, convenience stores, park, and some casino hotels.its bed may be hard but the room is generally okay.what i did not like about the hotel is that the staff were not accomodating.they did not offer to bring our bag to our room and not smile or greet when they met us.

we stayed in a standard room and were surprised to find that the room was really spacious. It was clean and nice. be sure to remember to request for a room on a non-smoking floor for a non-stinky room. shuttle bus service to the Venetian about every hour. excellent location as it was a short walk to food street (about 10 min). Reception staff was polite but not very friendly. Also, the beds were big but rather hard and slightly uncomfortable.
Restaurant Tip:
Mini Sweetheart Yam Pastry from Choi Heong Yuen is freakin delicious!! still have cravings for it after leaving Macau for 1 month.
