Hotel on Taipa Island close to the airport

Efficient staff processed my reservation quickly and even upgaded me to a larger room, without being asked. The location is good being only 5 minutes walk from the Taipa Village area of rstaurants and less than 5 minutes taxi ride to the airport. It was just a shame that there was no hotel airport transfer so I had to find my own taxi. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay.
Restaurant Tip:
Taipa Village is an area with a good choice of resaurants and only 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

hotel staff where helpfull, the price was cheap and remember to buy a breakfast coupon each day at the reception because it is half the price as signing at the resturant. all in all happy with the value offered by this hotel. some good resturants a short walk.

Hotel location is good, it quite near to Macau International Airport and you can easy find many restaurant around hotel. This is my second time to live in Best Western Taipa Hotel,I was surprised to they upgrade me to Delux Room while I came again, I'm feel very happy and enjoy much to stay here for my holiday.

Very cheap, actually probably one of the cheapest in Macao. Besides, The room is great and quite cozy. Based on these reasons, nothing to complain. However, the location is not very convenient for visitors due to expensive taxi fees. Although it might seems near to the casino. It still needs a long time to walk to the Venetian, probably 15 - 20 minutes at least. The service is allowable, but not expect much.

Overall satisfied. The rooms are quiet clean. However there is no breakfast included. It is easy to get a taxi on the streets as well and the bus station is in walking distance near the hotel. It's rather easy to get around using public transportation. So if you are looking for something cheap to spend the night over, Best Western is a pretty good choice.

I think it's ok for my holidays to stay here. The room is rather small but convenience. It looks good for couple and/or family. I stayed here twice this year and hope to come again next time. The price is suitable. I preferred it. I suggested my friends and other people to reserve this hotel when go to Macau. The most impression is that I enjoy this trip with my friends and my family.

Best Western Taipan, Macau.
The hotel itself is very nice and worth the money. The room is acceptable but the best part is its location which is very near the 5 star hotels; Venetian, Hard Rock, Four Seasons.. You can catch a non-expensive cab to enjoy your shopping both in those high-end area and the local Taipa village. It's also not too far from the downtown Macau.

Overall comment for this hotel is a fine place to stay, clean, good location and worth your money. A common problem in Macau is that it's pretty difficult to find someone who speak English. Hotel staff are nice and have fluent English but people around the area, or even taxi drivers, aren't very familair with English. So, prepare yourself well before actually get there with a map to point exactly where you wanna go. Just that and Macau is a little heaven island for you!
Restaurant Tip:
It's better of for me to take a cap to one of those 5 star hotels and order something nice but not too expensive with the English speaking waiters. Dining at the very local restaurant when you can't speak Chinese (Cantonese) is very much a pain.

Location of the hotel is excellent. Airport at about 15 minutes. The Venetian Casino at walking distance (15 minutes). Central Point of Macau's tourist attractions (Senado place) at 15 minutes with taxis (taxis are very cheap in Macau). Hotel provides also a shuttle bus the boat ferries for Hong Kong.
Breakfast buffet (cheap) has only a few dishes for non-Asians.
The rooms are clean and big (compared with Hong Kong). TV channels are limited and there are no Internet facilities in the room. The two internet screens in the lobby didn't work.
All in all excellent value for money.
