cheap hotel close to venetian and city of dreams
good value hotel close to airport and taipa

good value hotel close to the big new venetian and city of dreams complexes and the airport. quiet pool is a nice place to unwind.

nice swim pool open from 8am to 8pm, 3 stop from airport direct access to hotel,

impression of the 3-star Best Western Taipa is mediocre as the layout was not impressive but the interesting part was there is a mini Mocha casino at the lobby which offer 24-hr gaming entertainment. the shuttle bus was regular but only to ferry terminal. they should have regular ride to main city and venetian which is the main attraction. there was scarce eateries around which require to walk a distance to look for food. the only consolation is we are upgraded to superior family room without charge due to high occupancy

it has shuttle bus from and to macao ferry terminal

the location is near from venetian, only need 15 minutes by walk to reach venetian and if u want to go to town u can get the bus not far from the hotel. the size of the room is big enough.

Clean Hotel room. 10-15 min walk to the famous local food street.

The location is very good, walking distance to the Taipa Village and have many good restaurants around. Room is quite good and reasonable price, the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Anyway it was near to airport, it only take around 5-10 min drives from the hotel to airport (Taxi fees around MOP30-40. This will be my first choice for business travel.

The location is very good, walking distance to the Taipa Village and have many good restaurants around. Room is quite good and reasonable price, the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Anyway it was near to airport, it only take around 5-10 min drives from the hotel to airport (Taxi fees around MOP30-40. This will be my first choice for business travel.

this hotel is for the budget-conscious. expect no frills, i stayed for 4 months I should know. Avoid breakfast at all costs!
the decor is a little dated but the rooms are clean, genuine china style rock hard beds, and spacious rooms - good for families.
Pool is pretty good too. I noticed that the front desk get a lot of complaints - i think sometimes they don't understand english, other times they just don't get it, but after 4 months, what the heck.
Oh yeah, and internet is Wifi but pricey - and the laundry service is same-day :)
Travel tip:
this hotel justifies learning some cantonese...

the location is near about 15 mins walk to the newest Venetian and City of Dreams. It is also close to budget eatings, If you go for all the mention above, pick this hotel, otherwise, don't pick this hotel. For Shoppers, you may consider staying in Macau City, not Taipa. Taipa is the still developing strips (areas) and far from the so called fully content city of its own. You might need bus or taxi to go from one place to another. The hotel staffs are not too friendly when you ask for travel information. Think they need a lot of English practice, since they are under BEST WESTERN chain hotels.

Reasonable room rate and clean room

We choose to stay one nite in this hotel before we shift to the hotel in the Macau City, as this is one of the reasonable hotel during weekend in terms of rates. For the type of room rate, this hotel is consider value for money in Macau. It is near the Venetian Casino and the airport. Room are relatively clean but hotel need a facelift. To go to Macau City, it is considered far, unless you do not mind the journey, as this hotel provide a transport to the Macau City Ferry terminal, which is near many Casino at Macau City.
