Quiet and Nice location
if you like quiet surrounding, this hotel is for you. Near Taipa village, museum and airport. Taxi to the airport only $25 + 6 for luggage from the hoetl and this hotel has free shuttle to macau ferry terminal.

overall we like this hotel, its serene surroundings and near location to the airport (only about 2 km away). It was also easy to find restaurant, even mac donalds only walking distance from the hotel. Taipa village can be reached by walking too, in case you need to buy egg tarts and other local cookies to bring home. it's recommended, coz at the airport it's only very few stores, you'd better eat at restaurant near the hotel or at the hotel before you go to the airport.
Travel tip:
venetian is quite far from the hotel, you'd better take bus or taxi

The Best Western Hotel in a good value for money. A little too far from Venetian, it took 20 minutes to walk to Venetian. So, on the way back i took a taxi, which cost me not much, 13 HD$. The hotel is so close to airport. The room is also neat and clean. The room size also larger than expected. If you plan to stay there, and if you love Japanese food, I would love to recommend you to try a japanese restaurant right at the corner across the street. it opens until 3-4 am. (i'm not sure). Anyways, the food is good in taste and price. For me, I give 2 thumbs up. Next time, I would go stay at Best Western again.
Restaurant Tip:
Go try a Japanese restaurant. It locates right at the corner opposite to the hotel. Here you can find good food at night.

i only stayed here a night but already this unpretentious hotel had made a good impression. I got a corner room which was big enough for the five of us. the room was comfortable, located just a short drive from the airport, and macanese houses, the staff friendly and helpful...everything was pleasing without being overwhelming. a good hotel which i wouldn't hesitate to recommend or stay in on my next visit. diners are aplenty within walking distance and the Venetian is just a short cab drive away....value for money what more could you ask for.

Nothing too bad about the hotel, but I seriously think that hotel should provide free shuttle service between hotel and the airport cause the taxi drivers in Macau are totally unscrupulous. No taxis wanted to send us to the hotel due to the short distance and finally one was willing to send but made us pay 70HKD and we found out that that usual price is ard 20-30HKD! After which, we took a taxi to Venetian and the other driver took one big round and it cost us 31.50HKD just to get from Taipa to Venetian. We only paid 13HKD when we came back to the hotel from Venetian. This will be the last time I will ever step foot in Macau again. One last thing, Macau government should step up the enforcement on their taxi drivers.

This hotel is a good location especially near Ventian Hotel. The staff at the reception were friendly but a little not helpful because they are not able to provide ferry timings when we wanted it. They could not even give us some contact to call the ferry services people. Telepones numbers are not updated.
Rooms are clean and good. Rooms that we stayed in was too cold. Technician was called in to adjust, but temp was still the same.
Near by there is a local cafe(which was recommended by hotel staff) food there was cheap and good!
Restaurant Tip:
Check with hotel staff a local chinese cafe that serve delicious pork chop bun, noodles

Very Accessible and Good Value for Money
very accessible;near places to see (Venetian, Taipa village, quick bus ride to macau etc) ; good value for money; decent place to stay in if you are on a budget

If you are on a travel budget, Best Western Taipa offers the best decent lodging . No need to stay in luxurious hotels in macau, since the city itself is very accessible by buses from Taipa. Right outside the hotel are bus stops where you can get your ride to all the sights to see in Macau. Buses 11 and 33 will get you to Macau city center (Senado, Lisboa etc) . Others will get you to Coloane and places in Taipa. Standard room is decent enough for me , but the front desk personnel know very little english that makes it difficult to get information about anything else from them.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Senado Square and Rua de Cunho are must places to visit. The dry and wet markets in the side streets around Red Market/Horta Costa are where you can get good buys.

A convenient hotel in Macau Taipa aera
The hotel is at Taipa central with walking distance to Venetian Resort Hotel and just 2km to Macau Airport. Standrad Room is big (23m2), clean and quiet. the most convenient for a traveler from the hotel is that free shuttle bus to Macau-HK ferry with just 8mins in a 40mins-cycling btw 10am to 7pm daily. And then from the ferry, you can have many chioces of free shuttle bus to whatever city area and Casinos you want.

This is valued hotel to Macau if you want to stay at Taipa area but near Venetian Resort Hotel, onvenient and safety.
Shopping Tip:
There is a side road from the hotel to Venetian Resort by just 8~10 mins.
