Verdict - Worst hotel choice

Worst hotel stay- taxi drivers do not know the hotel name in English have to tell them in mandarin. Taxi drivers do not like to go to this hotel because it is too short a distant from Venetian hotel and the rest of the hotels in the cotai strip. If u take the taxi back at night u have to pay HKD$100 for a HKD$20 fare unless you choose to walk back about 20mins which is not near. Shuttle is provided every 1hour but ends at 6.30pm on weekdays and 8.30pm on weekends. If you choose to wait for a taxi on ur own, be prepare to wait and fight for it. Customer service is not at it's best. Taxi cannot drive into the hotel and will leave u at the road side and if u have heavy luggages, good luck to u! The furnishing is very old and the bed is as hard as the floor, pillows are really thin, room is dimly lit, shampoo and body foam in packets like those used in low budget hotels. Hotel do not have much facilities and it is difficult to get to nearby places for food. Overall verdict- will never stay in this hotel!

Hotel is good for budget travellers. It has all the basic amenities and most of all clean. Location wise - quite good. Near to local eateries. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This place sucks. rooms smell like cigarettes. beds are like cement. zero facilities. it also is around 20 mins walk minimum from the venetian, galaxy etc. just terrible.

Location is not too strategic, however can actually be improved by providing more frequent shuttle bus service.
We had a bad experience with the shuttle bus. The bus did not wait for the passenger in the ferry terminal at all, leaving us waited for the next shuttle which is an hour later.
Very difficult to control the temperature of the water heater in bathroom.

The Best Western Taipa is located in Taipa village, so it is between the casinos on the Cotai Strip and the Macau city centre, so it was equally convenient for both, being a short taxi drive/bus journey away. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly but the decor is quite dated now and needs updating.

Affordable hotel close to Taipa village

We opted to stay at this hotel because we were going to split our time between Macau and the Cotai strip and we did not have a large budget. The hotel was clean and comfortable. It was also close to Taipa village which was very pleasant, with a lot of old buildings (there is an old house museum in the village) and some nice Portuguese tavernas and coffee shops.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Check out Taipa village, it is only 5-10 minutes walk from the Venetian.

Great location but small rooms

The beds were very hard and small,the light was dim in the room,the staff was unfriendly,hard to take a cab from airport to hotel...
