Hotel Renovation.
Hotel will be carrying out extensive renovation work from 11th May, 2009 until early July, 2009.
During the renovation period, there will be inevitable drilling and hammering sounds when the heavy works are in progress, but we assure you that no alarming noises will take place during the night. The renovation works will be carried out from 9am to 6pm daily.

Most of the staff had a good command of English - they were exceptionally helpful.

Had an indoor pool.

The location was good,shuttle bus service was good- the staff were extremely helpful with tourist info and directions ( writing all necessary directions etc in Chinese )The 6 hour city and surrounds tour they organised was great. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the room service was very quick.Would definitely stay there again.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take an organised trip before doing your " own " things/sightseeing.

good looking hotel, nice room, good size bed, friendly staff, restaurants were good and had reasonable prices

the description on the internet said there would be a sauna and there wasn't which was a great disappointment. but there was a gym and a pool. also there wouldnt very many stations available on the tv.

overall a good deal. for the price. there was construction going on while we were there and so if that was the reason for the sauna being closed, then assuming it will be open the next time, it would be a great deal. as it was, it was a good one. the buffets for lunch and breakfast were both reasonable. they weren't extravagant but they had plenty to eat and the staff were attentive. actually, the staff was friendly and helpful all around which made it a nice experience. our room was a good size, the bed was comfortable, the shower was great. they did say we would have a mountain view which was a bit of an exaggeration, but it was still a good room and it came with internet. i would go again.

Comfortable, Clean

Hotel under renovation, noise during 9-6

We booked three rooms. Two rooms got upgraded. A good start for our stay. The rooms are pretty clean and big. The location is not too bad. It is closed to Fishman's Wharf. To and from the Ferry is just a few minutes. Our rooms included free breakfast, the food is ok, not much of selection. Overall, the hotel is ok.
