A little disappointed
relatively convenient location. good service
the bathroom was terrible!
After the shower, the water was leaking on the floor. The slippers were all wet and it was very easy to fall.

Bad experience at Emperor Hotel
not up to standard and not worth the money
it was not worth the money. When we arrived, which was about 3 pm in the afternoon, the room was not ready. So we went out for some snack, but after we returned, there was a long line at the counter. So we left again to do some sight seeing. We finally got our room around 9 pm and asked for late checkout, but the receptionist wasn't too accomodating, saying that we couldn't check out later than 1 pm. When we went into the room, it was dirty. The carpet had black smudges on it. The bathtub wasn't that clean with visible mould. Moreover, we found a Q tip on the carpet floor, and one of the magazine covers on the desktop had a piece of chewing gum on it. The cleanliness of the hotel is just not worth the money. The room was deluxe, but did not look it. The next morning when we checked out, we saw a gentleman wearing a tie vacuuming the room next to ours. He didn't look like the cleaning staff of the hotel. The hotel looked short-handed, and some managers had to help out cleaning the rooms. That's why the rooms are tardy.

"A home away from home"
good service and good location.....
no 110volts eletrical sockets
it was quite a short stay but very memorable. comfortable and relaxing, i was surprised by their warm welcome, not like the stories i heard of from friends about macau and the people living there. such friendly and hospitable people though some of them are filipinos.

Great location but the service is not good.
Late check in in which the actual check in time is 3pm, however was informed that they are still cleaning the room and only able to check in after 4.30pm.
I would not go back to this hotel due to late check in and poor service.

Value for Money.
Great location & Nice rooms. Polite Front Desk staffs.
Toilet seems abit dirty and the continental breakfast served is below par.
the staffs at the front desk are helpful & polite despite busy entertaining a heavy traffic of customers.

No frills, basic + Free bedbugs
location is quite centralised
no pool, 'continental' breakfast consists of toast,
the location is quite near the main attractions, but the hotel reeked of cigarette smoke,

great location, nice rooms
location, price
bathroom a bit unclean
we arrived on january 2, 2011 and the hotel was booked nearly completely. first they offered us a room with two seperate beds, but after complaining they eventually upgraded us so we could share a double bed. the upgraded room was a deluxe suite and was very nice. except for the bathroom, which was a bit dirty for this category.

emperor hotel
the room is clean and large enough. the service of the reception was very kind.
the location is a little far from the main street.
i always use this hotel when i stay in macao. the hotel is a little difficult to find, but the room is clean and the service is good. i'm satisfied with this budget hotel.

My friend and I spent 2 night here. It's good hotel but not as I expect coz I paid per night during last Christmas which I think a bit expensive.

Good value for money
great location, spacious/clean room, good selection to tv programme
small shuttle bus and timing not accurate, service not good as expected
Check in around 2am and got a twin bed room (2 single bed), check if can change room but no room avail at that time, dissapointed but staff said can change the next day around 12pm. Called reception around 12pm the next day, was told no room avail, got to wait till 2pm. But can change after we back later in the evening and our stuff can left in room, not so bad. Finally got a nice king size bed for the rest of our stay, room feel more spacious too. The concierge guy not very friendly, although he helped us when the shuttle bus came but without a 'smile'. Just don't feel the service in this hotel. Stay and go...
