Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Emperor Hotel Macau-Thumbs up!
Good value, good location.
8.3
The hotel was located near many other casinos. Food, and entertainment were footsteps away. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. From the ferry terminal I knew that the shuttle bus would be scarce since it is a small hotel without a casino. I took a shuttle to a nearby hotel and walked the Emperor. The girl that checked me in was smart and fast. No problems at all. I forget her name but she was certainly competent compared to the other guy I met later on. I really wish the internet was cheaper. I travel a lot in Asia and realize many places charge an insane amount for internet so that is understandable. Some hotels offer free wifi but most don't. On my last day, I asked to check my bags into their bell area as I wanted to go shopping cause my flight didn't leave til late at night. All in all, for the PRICE and quality I can not complain. You get what you pay for and Emperor more than delivered. Thank you. If you are wanting 5star service, ante up and go search for a different place. If you want to stay in a reasonably priced hotel with decent quality then Emperor is the way to go!
Hotel Feature Tip:
Don't look for ferry terminal buses. It's scarce.

Pleasant experience stay at Emperor Hotel.
The hotel room was cosy and very clean. It give the guest a satisfying feeling of staying in the hotel. The location of the hotel is geographic located as it is convenient to go to any other places of interest in Macau.

The hotel room was cosy and very clean. It give the guest a satisfying feeling of staying in the hotel. The location of the hotel is geographic located as it is convenient to go to any other places of interest in Macau. I am staying in the executive floor with the breakfast provided. The breakfast provided by the hotel is very limited. The breakfast is more of western style. As there are a lot of Asian visitor, I am of the opinion to make some other varieties of food e.g, bee hoon, dumplings or porridge. In summary,I will still recommend my friends to stay at the hotel because of the reasonable price and geographic location of the hotel. If I am back in Macau, I will still choose to stay in the Hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The location is near to Centro Macau and there are food and shopping available near to the hotel.

About Emperor Hotel
Looks new and quite clean.
6.7
1) Location is good. Near to Macau City & the Ferry Terminal. It's about 10 mins by cab.
2) There are several resturants around the hotel.
3) There is no casino in this hotel. If you are looking for casino then this will not be an ideal hotel.

Good choice
Good location, wonderful looking room
7.3
In general the hotel is quite a good bargain. Its location is good, bus stop is just around the corner and you can get to anywhere in Macau from here. Hotel also provides a good shuttle bus service, it also takes you to the ferry terminal if you want to go to Hong Kong or other parts of China. There are lots of restaurant around for some good local food. Room are well keep and clean. The only thing is that you can't really depend on a friendly reply or help from the front desk, but there are other staffs that are quite helpful.
Restaurant Tip:
There is a good Portuguese restaurant nearby around the corner of the hotel. About 5 minutes walk A must try is their Portuguese fried rice, a huge portion.

Emporer Hotel
Fantastic room. "Healthy" Room
9
I stayed in the executive room. I believe they put me in a healthy executive room with special healthy pillow, recycle bills so on. The room is fantastic and is a very comfortable room. Average attitude staff at lobby but staff service at executive lounge is good. Has a few casino nearby and is in a 10-15 mins walking distance to busy distict. Nice!
Shopping Tip:
Change your money to MOP. Using HKD and RMB is a 1-1 rate at quite a number of shops.

Mixed review
Nice & spacious room
Good & Central location
6.3
This is my 2nd stay in the Emperor, my 1st was quite a pleasant one but the last was not! Rooms wise I have no complaints they are a level or two better than the Sintra! The front office staff are quite polite but I was turned off by a very rude male cashier who do not understand simple English or pretend he doesn't. He has made no effort to be helpful. The other 'minus' point is there is no clear sign where to take the shuttle bus from the ferry terminal to the hotel. The timing is quite confusing too!

Emperor Hotel
Conveniently located. The hotel rooms are excellent for the price we are paying.
9.3
It is very conveniently located on Macau City. Walking distance to Sands, WYN's & Star World Casino. The hotel rooms are excellent for the price we are paying. The best thing was I could book the hotel immediately within 20 mins from Agoda on the same day that we wanted to check in.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Besides the Hotel food, you can still opt for local food just around the hotel area
