A recommendation to share.
Very convenient to all casinos.
9.7
Emperor Hotel in Macau is located in a central place where you can walk or take a taxi (short trip) to any other interests of youself (of course casinos). The Hotel is very quiet and the room are super clean. Hotel staffs are friendly and approachable. Even the bell boy are friendly and helpful. I will definitely book this hotel again for my next visit and will also recommend to friends who are going to macau.

ok place, probably can find better value
reasonable price, good location
6.3
I found the hotel to be a decent place. Not something I would really recommend to anyone as a must stay place, but a decent value. The rooms are small and bathrooms not very nice. The overall cleanliness is not great. Location is nice, easy walk to almost anything on Macau island.

Worth the value
Strategic location, at city centre, near to Casinos, shops , easy to find food, comfortable room in good conditions, friendly staffs, good service.

In conclusion, for an exploration trip to MACAU hot spots and city life, this is an ideal location within walking distance to many spots. Views somehow is relatively not important because it is not MACAU selling point anyway.
Shopping Tip:
Try to explore their local community life and street, you may have surprises.
Not much established shopping complexes here, shopping may not be ideal.
Should survey for their typical famous local foods, acceptable levels depends on individual.
Must see Wynn Hotel's show, every half an hour there will be a show where ceiling and floor will open, amazing.

Good choice in Macau
Clean, large room, no casino
8.3
Facilities may be a bit limited, but it's hard to argue with the price. In Macau, most reasonably priced hotels charge by the hour or have a casino. If you are looking for somewhere decent to stay that isn't loud at night or seedy, the Emperor is a good choice.

Near all the big casinos, good for the price

The romm is quite nice, ok size lcd tv. The room was no smoking but it smelld and the carpet had some burnmarks and stains on it. The hotel is near Star World, Wynn and Grand Lisboa casinos. Hard to find restaurants near the hotel, only jewelery shops in ewery corner.

Emperor Macau
Well located...within walking distance of Largo do Senado...as well as many casinos. And a bus stop is close by;....with cheap fares it is easy to get around the island easily.
7.7
Clean and comfortable. Well located...and the front desk staff spoke English and were helpful (they booked Turbo Jet fares for us). Easy walking to lots of areas of interest. Also...be aware that there is another Emperor Hotel...we got dropped off at the wrong one...and had to get a taxi to the other. Not a major though
Travel tip:
We had rain while there...so hopped on the local bus and went to Coloane, Taipa and many other places. A cheap, fun way of seeing around...and keeping dry at the same time!

Pros:
Breakfast is excellent - There are lots of variety offered.
Room size is good for the price we paid.
Excellent Location - There is a bus stop a few steps away that take you to the ferry terminal, casinos and to the city center.
Hotel staff is helpful.
Cons:
Mattresses are very hard.
Rooms with queen size bed is very limited. We have requested 2 rooms with Queen size bed at the point of reservation but were given twin rooms.
We were not advised that we could request for a non-smoking floor which would have been our preference but instead were given a room on a smoking floor.
