My experience about Emperor Hotel on 23-24 Aug 2008. Actuary I would go there until 22Aug but Typhoon made The Macau Airport was closed.
However, I was lucky because the Hotel couldn’t find the room with my request so they offered to upgrade me to Executive room.
The room is very comfortable. I think the Hotel location is good. I can be outside all time (24hours). I can eat , shopping, go to casino and more entrainment around the hotel. I can go anywhere by bus or taxi. It is worthwhile if I think about value of money. I am satisfied about the hotel.

- Restaurant Tip : near by is a good restaurant that isn't expensive, however it does allow smoking

Well appointed hotel in the middle of Macau city centre - walkable distance to ferry and most of the major casinos
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Don't miss the Venetian casino - trust me you can easily spend one day roaming in that one casino.

It's quite convenient. Once you step out from the hotel you can find the taxi.

Don't always believe the reviews. We booked this hotel after reading the favourable comments from other travelers. Don't mistake Emperor Hotel with Grand Emperor Hotel.

The location is quite convenient to visit the Senado Square and the Protuguese Gate which is the popular visiting places for tourists. Taxi will cost around 20 HK/Macau dollars. Must try Portuguese egg pie. Can use HK dollar with the conversion rate of 1:1 with Macau dollar.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Impressed by the Venetian Casino which is the biggest casino in Macau. The decoration is copied from Venice with canal and gondola.
