Superb hotel with excellent service

i tried banyan tree last time at the galaxy hotel and was blown away with it. this time, my stay at the galaxy hotel itself was just as pleasurable whilst being fully aware it is not the banyan tree. the service did not suffer from it in any way. people were very responsive and quick.

Budget room. It is suitable for budget travelers who do not expect much on their bed room. The receptionists did not smile to the guests. Poor service.

I have been to Macau many times as i live in hong kong. It seems to me that things have changed in Macau greatly as they are catering to the mainland chinese. Most of the tables have been changed to Bacarat and other chinese games, all the casinos were full of mainlanders which is not a pleasent experiance in itself. I checked out the same night and went back to Hong kong.

Hotel was really new and grand. Was amazed by the wave pool. Totally enjoyed my stay. Hotel has shuttle buses to most locations and we have no need to take a taxi at all throughout our stay. There were also many shops in the hotel itself. Walk over to Venetian for Lord Stow egg tarts! The rooms were spacious and beautiful facings!

Hotel looks grand. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Room faces the wave pool and views were scenic at night. Staff were polite and friendly.

You could go to almost all the places in macau for free using its shuttle buses which transports you to the tourists spots in the city.

It is good all around.It is more catered to Chinese tourists from mainland China. The staff cannot speak much English. The room was large and well maintained. Many many restaurants are available to choose from( casual to fine dining). The lap pool was very nice, but the wave pool was disappointing.
