Golden Dragon hotel is an affordable tall two-tower building in an enviable location, facing the eastern side of the Macau City Center. Tourists can easily access major Macau attractions like Fisherman�s Wharf and Sands Casino and the ferry terminal public bus stop is also nearby, making commuting around the city cheap and easy. Bright and well furnished rooms feature modern amenities including internet access, TV and mini bar. Gastronomic delights are offered by two onsite restaurants serving authentic local and Cantonese cuisine and rejuvenation comes in the form of a pool and gym.

Good value for money. Near the ferry terminal and walking distance to Sands(my fave casino)
Not as spectacular as other hotels in area
I've stayed at the Golden Dragon several times now as it's veyr good value for money. Stayed for a few nights last week for a short business trip. Check in/check out was smooth as ever and the room is always clean. Only problem I ahd this time was the flush on the toilet wasn't working but the staff got it sorted right away.
If you go to Macau and are on a budget...I would highly recommend Golden Dragon. Always book through a 3rd party site like Agoda as they charge alot if you go direct.

What I like: this hotel is located about <10 minutes walking distance to ferry port and close to some sightseeing spots. Facility wise, I think that the hotel is decent with such a room rate. The room is clean and well-maintained.
What I don't like: maybe the hotel should send their receptionists for training about their attitudes to customers. When I was attended in the reception counter, I really felt that I wasn't welcome. The manager is very kind and willing to help though. The bed is too hard to me even though I prefer hard bed. The hotel may consider to rearrange elevators - some reserved for hotel guests exclusively and some for both hotel guests and gamblers.
