aging hotel needs a facelift but good value
handy for travel and ferry

clean tidy rooms, location was close to ferry, you can walk easy in 10 minutes. a little away from the town centre but close to all other casinos. bed was rock hard so make sure you ask for soft mattress. buses very cheap but like hk have exact fare else you lose out. all in all good hotel for the price. would stay again

medium quality hotel, a bit old. in fact they are renovating part of it, this means that at the moment the hotel can be a bit noisy and not all the facilities are available. the room was medium size, a bit old and not very very clean. the staff is friendly, and all in all an ok hotel if you do not expect too much and menage to get a good price

i enjoyed my stay at golden dragon hotel. overall, it was a pleasent experience for me in macau. the service was excellent. the staff there were friendly, and attended to my enquiries efficiently. one incident that made me amazed was when i asked them what time the next shuttle bus was, they checked and aftermath, when the bus approached; the staff there came to me and guided me to the bus himself. although this was outside of his jobscope (as the receptionist), but he kindly helped us with out luggage and and wished us a pleasent trip. i certainly recommend this hotel for the friendly service, cleaniness, and comfort.

Near to the Port.

The lobby itself doesn't look very grand but when we got into the room, we're surprised with the condition.
the room is comfy and clean.
even though it might be slightly old (the hotel appearance)
but it is decent.
the bed is not as hard as others' comments. It is very nice to sleep on it.
I think it's more to individual?

Nightlife Tip:
There's a night show in this hotel, i think most of the other hotels offer same performance.
I didn't go for the performance though, it might be quite amazing?

the room rates at the golden dragon was fairly priced so a bunch of us decided to book several rooms there. two of them were suites as well. the rooms were clean and a good size, not huge but i didnt feel cramped as well. the suites were great! large living room and bedroom as well as two washrooms. free internet was a plus, unfortunately they didnt have wifi.
the location is convenient and right on macau island within walking distance of the ferry terminal.
i would definitely stay here again!

There's two sides of the hotel. Ask for the one were the reception is located or else you'll be going back and forth from side A to B.

Stayed only one night. Everything was reasonably ok.
Not the cleanest of rooms, non-smoking (but could smell a bit of cigarette).
Ok for a short stay for a business traveller not willing to spend too much money on the hotel room.
Good point: Walking distance to the ferry terminal to Hong-Kong.
