This hotel is located nearby the Macau city. There are so many restaurants and casinos around. Even though the hotel is quite old, the rooms are comfortable, clean and well maintained. The staffs are very friendly, they kindly provided all information I asked for. I so impressed with them. The beds are quite hard.

the hotel was not as what we were expecting it was not too near to the adventure area except it was near the fisherman's warf which it was just across the hotel and the ferry terminal was also near like 5mins away. all in all it was not quite bad except the food we didnt enjoy our breakfast there.

As i stayed in Hotel Golden Dragon i was expecting we were near the adventure area but not as what we were expecting though it was near the fisherman's wharf n it has a nice view from the wharf. Our stay in the hotel was ok except the bed was hard and breakfast was not too great more of for chinese lovers only.

The hilights of Golden Dragon Hotel, Macau
Good lacation, clean room, good breakfast and friendly hotel staffs

This 4 stars hotel is situated in a good location of Macau, very close to Macau Ferry (Walking distance) Very convenience for traveller and business man. The room is very clean (I am lucky to have stayed on a non-smoking floor. Almost every staff of this hotel is friendly and helpful. I used to stay here once last year (2008), so this is my second time staying in this hotel. I intend to stay here again whenever I come to Macau in the future.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The hotel should consider to provide regular shuttle bus service to and from airport/ferries.

What I like best about this hotel is its location, its near the Sands Casino and the Macau Ferry terminal. Sands casino hotel is just a walk away from Golden Dragon, you just pass by the mini garden between it, in the Sands Casino - almost all big hotel's shuttle are going there - you just ride one shuttle that will go nearest to your destination - for free!
Yes, the beds are hard - but our hectic schedule during the day, we hardly felt it. I think it's also therapeutic for those have back problems
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
always ride the big hotel's free shuttle and the macao public bus is also cheap

When we booked this hotel we were after a cheap accomodation with fantastic location and very clean room, and i must admit Golden Dragon Hotel is a very clean hotel, and it is located conviently near the wharf so it was easy to catch the ferry to Hong Kong which the hotel offered a free shuttle bus.
Also the buffet breakfast that the hotel offer is a mix of western and asian food which is fantastic if you like them both.
Overall the hotel is a basic clean hotel and i cant find anything wrong with it besides not having a gym or pool...but either way i enjoyed my hotel stay and would stay there again.

we stayed at the Golden dragon for 3 nights from aug 3-6, 2009. The stay was pleasant. check-in was quick. the staff was polite and very helpful.
bathroom was neat and the pillows were very soft..down feathers?
The room had a great view of the fisherman's wharf and of the macau harbor. Also conveniently located near the ferry and bus terminal. The hotel provides free shuttle service to different parts of the city. problem was, rain seeped thru the windows for 2 night. although, the staff was quick to respond and put towels to stop the leak, they didn't have maintenance fix it the following day. was just scared that the window would blow off outside.
Hotel has a casino on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
I just wished there was internet access inside the room.
Overall, the room was relatively cheap compared to the others in this area and room view.
Travel tip:
cheap eateries and a local chinese store along rue de malaca across the hotel
