Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Classic Hotel
Proximity to the pier, relatively convenient
7.3
hotel staff was excellent. however, the room were old and desparately needs renovation. it is not up to the standards of other mandarin oriental hotels. compared to the price i paid, the value of money is not high.
Restaurant Tip:
Go to Porto Extirico for dinner

Old stand-by next to ferry terminal
6.3
although refurbished about 5 years ago, walking into the grand lapa is like stepping into a time machine and arriving at macao circa 1990. well maintained and renovated, the interior decor, colors, and style is a very tired mandarin oriental kitsch that hasn't changed in 30 years. while it may have some nostalgia value to long time travelers to macau, its obvious that the mandarin oriental management has moved onto the new mo located behind the mgm and left this one frozen in time.
while service is generally good and the cafe bella vista and thai restaurants are good, the check-in/check-out system seems to be also left over from 30 years ago as it is incredibly slow and inefficient.

Extremely friendly staff
Near the harbour, near Wynn Hotel so there are free buses to most places in Macau from Wynn.
8.3
We were given a low floor room with no view. Room was decently sized and comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly, giving us tips on where to go in Macau and telling us to take the free buses from Wynn Hotel location next door. Hotel was supposed to be renovated but that hasn't been done. Hotel bus from harbour arrives every 20mins but there are no signs to point you to the waiting point.

Was a fine hotel in its day!
grand lobby, kind and friendly front desk staff
4.7
Since the name change to Grand Lapa it looks like their has been no investment in the property. The carpeting is worn, the key card system is antiquated, the rooms have old furniture and VERY old lighting.
The weekend breakfast buffet is average in quality and quantity, but WAY overpriced!
Restaurant Tip:
for an inexpensive, wide selection of good food served quickly you can't beat Red 8 at Wynn Macau. AND it's open 24 hours a day!

Attentive service with easily accessible location
9.3
The staff at the hotel was very helpful and when they noticed that there isn't any double room avaialbe, we were being upgraded to the Suite for free. Although it was only a one night stay, it's cerntianly formed a very good impression and i will definitely come back to visit again!

Superb Hotel with Excellent Location
The Feature Of The Hotel Is Uncomparable

A lovely hotel with some great feature in Macau. The location was in golden triangle. We were lucky enough to book the club 80 suites during our stay during their grand opening. The staff were attentive and professional striving to meet our every need during our stay. Room service meals were fantastic and quick. Happy hour drinks were wonderful on the club level.
