Nicer than where I usually stay

got stuck in macao an extra night on a weekend. had to find a room last minute, this was actually the best and cheapest option, although way more than im accustomed to. great service from the van through my departure the next day. turn down service was nice with hot tea. fresh fruit in the room on arrival- seems to be a macao thing. all the top end stores- seems to be an abundence of them in macao. didnt try any of the restaurants but theres a great locals type place over across the street near the waldo, but tough to cross the street.
Hotel Feature Tip:
great fitness room, with some equipment i've never seen in the usa which uses your own body weight to work out with (not pilates stuff). staff eager to help.

I am delighted while I was staying in Grand Lapa Macau.
I like also the breakfast and atmosphere of the restaurant too.
But only the location is little far from the centre. Other than that I like it very much.

the best hotel we stayed in around asia so far. kindest service staff we`ve ever experienced. nice view of swimming pool. walking distance from casinos, nice restaurants, small shops with good choice of wine and not far from the evening buzz of the lovely square near the portugal church ruins.

Stylish, not Glitzy, Helpful and Considerate staff

friendly front desk staff. Lovely decor,in foyer and restaurant and room, stylish, not loud like many other Macau hotels. No need for extreme glitz,a quieter ambience suited us.
Thai Reastaurant on site had lovely environment, fabulous menu and wonderfully friendly and professional manager. Top Rate!
On our last day I was unwell, check out was at 12 noon, we asked for an extra hour, for me to recover. It was no problem, would we like to stay in room until 2.00 or even 3.00 pm they said at front desk. When we did go down to check out, the front desk clerk immediately asked if I was feeling better, was there anything else I required. 10 out of 10 for my review.
Restaurant Tip:
If you like Thai Food - you can't go past the Thai Restaurant on site at the Grand Lapa Resort. Great food, extensive menu, friendly and generous manager, a very nice ambience too.

My stay at the hotel was very nice and the people that work there are really nice. However, there was one problem. We ate and drank at the hotel and of course we put it all on the room. One day before checking out I got a letter to contact the hotel as soon as possible to close all the money issues. That was uncomfortable for me because I was still on my vacation and I didn't want to deal with all the payment issues. it's much better to do it all when the guests check out, it gives a much better feeling.

Nice & peaceful hotel, a bit "old" but clean & tidy.
Location is OK for those enjoy the Casino, becasue it is near the the SANDS. However, getting taxi is quite difficult.
Food in the cafe & chinese resturant is Good.
One thing very dispointing - Hotel do charge for Wi-Fi and the rate is too expensive.

This hotel is overall a great place to stay, the beds are very comfortable, rooms are clean and staff/service are friendly. The use of spa/pool facilities is fantastic. The location also
