is a place with great service but one of the older hotels (rooms seem quite old). the pool area is good for relaxation. good thai restaurant. re location, a bit far away from main area.

This is a great hotel with really expensive shops, like, LV, Chanel, and etc. has a great spa with a Thai restaurants. The room was really nice, very cozy.

A classic hotel but reasonably well maintained and staffed by courteous and helpful staff. My requestfor a non smoking room with King bed are met. The room size is big and well equipped and maintained. The breakfast is sumptous and set in a pleassant and relaxed atmosphere. Moving around is easy and convenient as there are buses to shuttle us to various locations free of charge. It is a value for money stay.
I would recommend it to my friends.

This hotel used to be the Mandarin Oriental until they opened the new one by OneCentral. Sitll very nice, thought the rooms were somewhat dated. I mean the TV was still CRT, not LCD. The bathroom was also small.
I really dislike the 160 MOP charge per day for Internet access. This really needs to be free.

staff friendly, nice, good & polite & communicate well with excellent english.. facilities good especially great & fabulous swimming pool - very relaxing feels..nice cafe with tasty cheese cake & cosy ambience..but regret to say is not value for money as hotel is too old..especially carpets in hotel rooms, very old need change..light & interior design need replacement..hotel must immediate do renovation upgrading to meet required standard..bathroom is outdated & also the corridors..no free wifi..

Great Staff Made the Stay Enjoyable

At first, i was disappointed because i mistakenly thought i was booking the Mandarin Oriental (its what i was typed in the search box) to arrive and find out that i was really staying at Hotel owned by Mandarin Oriental.
We arrived and were greeted by very polite and welcoming staff. Rebecca greeted us with a warm and friendly smile, asked the reason for our stay and even sent us a birthday cake for my gf's birthday (i earned alot of points for this gesture)
The stay was enjoyable and the room very comfortable. It had all the usual perk a good hotel room has and a staff brought us hot tea in a very traditional Chinese pot upon arrival. Very impressed. The location is by the pier but far from the City. It is located right next to the Sands Casino and thus you are able to take their free shuttle to visit Venetian as well.
The decor seems a bit old fashion and rustic, very old fashion british. It is very quiet and not much traffic but the staff there are wonderful. The service would make me want to come again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Shuttle to pier is only 10 mins away, taxi to town was on average around 50 and a quick walk to Sands hotel.
