Wonderful Trip

When I just arrive at the hotel, the first impression is that the hotel is really grand and beautiful. The bellboy and the receptionist all are friendly and communication at the hotel is not the problem for me. The room is nice and clean. I like it and it also provide lots of channels, especially sports channel. The hotel have its own casino also. However, the casino is not as nice as Venetian, which is just around the area. So if it can improve this, I think it will be excellent. To conclude the review, I would say that I would come back to stay here again. It is an unforgettable holiday.

The hotel was good & clean. It located at cotai strip in taipa island which is the touted to be the next vegas strip in macau. There is also a casino which has low betting limits. The hotel is also near to the taipa village square where you can see old portuguese type buildings. The staff at the hotel don't really speak proper english which makes it hard for us to communicate.

Its a nice clean hotel. Looks new and the staff is very cooperative. On the downside, traveling to and from the hotel can be difficult especially late at night because it's a little secluded. But once all the properties on Cotai strip are up and running things should be better. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Grand Waldo hotel in Macau provides good value for its price. Since hotel is newly built, room condition and facility is good. In addition, customer can use free internet in room. It has huge spa, and they provide free coupon upon check-in. However, it is away from other hotel, and it is hard to catch taxi. Casino in the hotel is small comparing to others.

I thought when I look at the map, this hotel will be walking distance away from the venetian. But I was so wrong. There's nothing surrounding the hotel and you definitely need a taxi to get to the Venetian or the Cotai Strip. And taxi's are really hard to get from the hotel. More taxi is at the venetian. In Macau there's no better casino than the Venetian. So if you have a little more money might as well go to the venetian. don't try to save money like me..stay close to the Cotai strip

Room is nice, and very quiet. Facilities are great.
Unfortunately it's hard to find cab around the hotel. We wish to suggest to the hotel to provide more shuttle as alternative, or build taxi sign board on the road.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take the free shuttle from the hotel to pier or border gate and then find other hotel's shuttle for an easy transport.

The hotel is very nice & quiet. The service is quite OK. The room is clean but a little bit small (but quite big compare to hotel in Hong Kong). I'm not sure if it's only me but I couldn't get hot water in the bathroom. There is a small casino to spend your spare time. The transportation provided by the hotel is OK. If you take a taxi, it will be a little bit expensive since the hotel is quite far from any attraction. To go to Venetian Hotel which is the nearest attraction, it takes about $25 - $30. Overall, the hotel is OK.
Restaurant Tip:
If you received coupon for Breakfast, recommend that you should use it for Lunch Buffet. You will have to pay $33 MOP more but more variety of good food.

I visited 2 times and noticed that it has very modern room. If it's not your first time in Macau, I recommend it. Because it is not easy to go sightseeing to peninsula area.
Restaurant Tip:
Japanese Restaurant is very good but expensive.

GREAT VISIT AT MACAU!
It was a great stay at Grand Waldo Hotel, Macau. They have a great place and beautiful amenities. And the selling points there is that even if there's a casino it is quieter than others...it's great staying there, what a beautiful place!

It was a great stay in that hotel, my friends are very happy and me also...and if we are given a chance to travel to Macau again we would like to stay there also at Grand Waldo Hotel in Macau and were very happy also that we have "kababayan"in that Hotel, Monique the receptionist and Mang Luis the bell service that guide us where to go when we asked him...and he is also the first person that we met when he opened the door at the hotel that we were staying at...he is kind and easy to approach...it was a great stay there really...
