Shuttle bus leaves hotel every 30 minutes. If you are hurry to ferry terminal, take a cab to Venetian (it costs about HKG$10-15) from hotel,then take free shuttle at Venetian hotel.

very clean, huge room size, comfortable beds,free shuttle to the main city, near the airport not much English channel on television, far from the city centre We were able to check in an hour earlier from the check in time which is rarely happen in most hotel, nice buffet breakfast, free shuttle to the city and huge room size. The toilet is immaculately clean and the beds are comfortable. But there is nothing much to do in the hotel specially if your not a casino lover and a bit far from the city.

Overall quite a lovely place to stay if you are on limited budget. Rooms average to small in size but fine as a place to lay the weary head.

Overall a good experience. The included buffet breakfast was reasonable but the staff were slow to replenish. No problem with the hotel shuttlebuses which were punctual and free.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Grab a cab to the Venetian but specify the West entrance to keep your fee down to 15MOP.

Room was lavishly decorated Very impersonal and felt like I was being ripped off all the time We really did not enjoy the Grand Waldo. It felt very impersonal. The rooms were beautiful, but there was no atmosphere in the hotel. We booked to use the spa, but they refused to let us wear anything there, then would not give us our money back when we said we did not want to go. It was a considerable walk to the the other casinos and we could not wait to leave. We found the hotel to be very expensive for anything extra ie drinks in the bar, food in the restaurant, minibar etc.

good for the price, around $140 for upgraded room, pay double on MACAU for same standard...

If you want to have your economical vacation at Macau, visit Grand Waldo. That hotel would be better than you expect. Recommended.

Staff didn't speak English well at all. We dreaded going to the Ferry station for other shuttle buses because you got mobbed by all kinds of taxi and tour operators trying to sell you a tour to somewhere.
