It was an ordinary hotel but i feel that the rooms are fine and breakfast was good.
I think the whole hotel was good but needs a lot of renovations especially their bath rooms.

At the Grand Waldo the reception staff were very polite and friendly, admittedly, the level of English speaking by the staff is a bit rudimentary. The rooms are tidy and are comfortable. There is a free bus service from the hotel to the ferry terminal. The hotel is very close to the Galaxy complex which has one of the better casinos - very light and grand atmosphere. The casino at the Grand Waldo is mainly a quiet place with a couple of black jack, with the advantage of lower limits compare to the other casinos. The complimentary breakfast is good; freshly prepared eggs to order always plenty of food, with good coffee.

The reception staff were very polite and friendly, admittedly, you need to be able to speak Chinese, as the level of English speaking by the staff is rudimentary. The staff will book tickets for shows that need to be picked up at the venue or can be delivered at lunch time. The rooms are tidy and are really only a place to sleep. It is a bit of of a commute to the other side of the island but if you are willing to waste a bit of time you can get the free bus from the hotel to the ferry terminal and then transfer to the hotel of your choice. There are normally taxis available at the front of the hotel during the day - it's about $hk from the airport to the hotel.
The hotel is very close to the Galaxy complex which has one of the better casinos - very light atmosphere. The casino at the Grand Waldo is mainly frequented by Chinese and is a bit dark and gloomy - wouldn't really recommend gaming there for Western punters.
The complimentary breakfast is ok - nothing spectacular but there is always enough food.

Great location. Most casino is near by and connected by shuttle bus. Room is clean but breakfast is not too great. The price is completable wither others around airport area.
If you want to visit theh hotel/casino, just walk across the road infont of Grand Waldo hotel. Then you will be able to enter Star World hotel which have provided shuttle bus services to go to other 5 star hotel near airport and the center city of Macau.
