Child Friendly, clean, quiet, many entertainment aside from casino We were very pleased with Grand Waldo hotel. From the arrival to the Macau Ferry Port, the free hotel shuttle bas picked us up in the timely manner. Check in was smooth and it even came with 2 complimentary breakfast buffet. Room was very nice and clean. Newly furnished with nice bed. Shower room was big and nice. Very convenient location to the Venetian Hotel (just 3 minutes by taxi). We enjoyed staying there and definitely going back next time we visit Macau.

Overall everything was fine, hotel room was clean, neat and pleasant. Not so convenient, compare to other hotels in Macau. Getting additional bed in the room was also very ridiculous....more expensive than a day room rate. The hotel is cheap and nice, doesn't mind to stay there for my next trip but will definitely forget about getting additional bed in the room.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. Good view. Breakfast provided. Corridor lights not bright. No hotel transfer to and from airport. Hotel is generally good with spacious rooms and friendly staff and concierge. Very clean. Value for money, worth staying though it's a little out of place but very near airport. Taxi to places not very far. Enjoyed my stay.
Restaurant Tip : Food is not a problem. Many restaurant within location.

Overall it's good but need more travel van to help the clients travel whole macau, location hotel too far from downtown. Breakfast not good enough.

The hotel is very neat and welcoming. Restaurants are excellent. Food is available anytime of the day: we were thrilled to get hot chinese food at 4.30am! Staff could be a little more friendlier. Also, we were given casino vouchers which expired the next day at 6.00am! The hotel is very well located near the Venetian. It is very good value for money, especially if you don't require the grandeur of the Venetian or if you find it excessive (which we do!). Unfortunately, our travel plans meant that we could only stay at the Grand Waldo for one night, so we were unable to try out all the different facilities (such as the spa and the gym) and all the restaurants. The corridors were dimly lit and smelled of cigarette smoke, but the rooms themselves were great and exactly what we needed.
Hotel Feature Tip : When you check in, you are given a handful of different vouchers to use -- make sure you know when each of them expire so that you can actually use them!

Spacious and clean room and toilet.Good size TV with numerous programmes to select. The rate offered by Agoda was the most attractive for this 5 star hotel. The hotel was clean and the facilities well maintained. The room and toilet were spacious and the service superb. The room has a good size TV with numerous programme to select from local to international shows.

language among staff and let of food outlet within or near the hotel Macau, a neon city of casinos. traveling fr hotels/ casinos is not a problem as most provide transport to the ferry terminal. Grand Waldo Hotel is situated in Taipa, a very new location still under development in most places. nearby to the newly open City of Dream/ Hard Rock & Crown hotel. It is also within walking distance to venetian and the tourist center. about 20 mins walk you can reach the tourist attraction where u can find shops, cafe and place of interest. Here u can also get the almond cookies, and gift too.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : takethe bus fr the hotel and go to the ferry terminal, from there u can walk abt 5-10 mins to the nearby fisherman Wharf, Guan Yim center, Macau Tower and also quite many of the casinos nearby. if u are lazy, can take the public bus, fare is reasonably cheap and the condition is clean as well. I would advise to walk as you can see more and have better shoot of photos that way

Hotel was big, clean and casino facilities. Too quiet especially in the elevator areas between the casino and hotel areas. The hotel room was clean and size moderate. It was a little too quiet for safety reasons. A very convenient stay especially when the casino was just next door and transport provided by the hotel to the ferry terminal was very accessible. If not for the hotel rate, comparatively a little on the higher end, it would be an ideal hotel stay with its peaceful and quiet environment.

The lobby was very smart and the concierge was very friendly. It wasn't a 5 star hotel, but it did the job. The breakfast wasn't the best. No-one seemed to know where our hotel was and the taxi driver took us over to the other island thinking it was the Waldo! It was very quiet. It was ok for what we wanted and we got a good deal with Agoda, but I wouldn't stay there for more than one night. The outdoor pool was nice and big and they had the sports channel playing the Barcelona Man U game so my boyfriend was happy!
Nightlife Tip : It's right opposite the Venetian so you don't need to spend much time in the hotel.

Great 5 Star hotel, nice and helpful staffs The Hotel is still is great shape, although abit far from town its still a good place to stay as it is great value for money. The casino is small and abit depressing they could work on some more entertainment or even music playing around the casino to liven the place up.

friendly staff. location - all alone in the middle of nowhere.
facilities - I had the chance to wonder around the resort and its somewhat ill maintained. From looking at the map, the location appears to be very close to The Venetian but in fact its not. The direct route is currently cordoned off for the construction (which is now stalled) of the Galaxy Resort. There's no bus within reasonable walking distance - just cab.

Not expensive to book for a hotel in macau, the spa is excellent. No service offered for shuttle bus from hotel to airport. Grand Waldo Hotel, the hotel rate is just right, not that expensive, i don't see any reason why they don't offer service for airport transfer, if they have shuttle bus for hotel transfer, ferry terminal, jockey, it should be the best service they can offer to their guests unlike other hotels.

nice room and buffet breakfast Needs to add more bus trips to Macau ferry. The room is nice. Staff is friendly, since ourcheck-in time is around 11 p.m. they extend our check out to 2 p.m. Thanks a lot. Just that the place is very far from all the sightseeing and shopping center. The nearest shopping center is Venetian hotel. My family takes take back and forth trips to Venetian Hotel that costs around 25 MOP per trip and not as stated by others that it costs around 13 MOP...other than that, it is a very nice hotel with good buffet breakfast selection.

The hotel is just ok
very clean The big problem in the hotel is that you too far from the Maca island . The venetion hotel is close but it takes about 30 minutes walking The price for this 5star hotel was fine threw the website agoda.but it is not a 5 star hotel at all there no many customers coming because of the location,the swiming pool was closed for some construction,casino is small and only 3 tables of Black jack no poker but it is no problem because the casino is never crowded.The big problem in this hotel that nobody can communicate with english speaking customer.
