Hotel for the future Guest Rating: 3.0

The hotel is nice , well appointed , new. Now the problems - Very out of the way , not many taxi drivers know the location. it is a very dead location. only life in the vicinity is the Venetian , which is a ten minute drive from the hotel. the casino rarely has any crowd - it perhaps would be good once the hotels in the vicinity are open. breakfast was nice not great. Bar hostess in Pappaya bar were rude.

For price that we paid, we had very good value. However, there is nothing nearby so one has to plan one's itenary carefully. The free shuttle to the ferry terminal is quite useful to go to Macau. Hotel should have shuttle to other area as well such as the Venetian or villages in Taipa or Corloane. Overall it was a good experience.

Our family had a wonderful time at Grand Waldo Hotel. Our room was modern, with excellent king size bed and separate bath and shower. The housekeeping staff were attentive, as well as the concierge staff, who gave useful tourist information. Buffet breakfast was included, which was substantial and a wonderful start to the day. We tried the dim sum restaurant in the hotel which was delicious. Although the location of the hotel is a bit far from the main tourist area, there are regular shuttle buses, so this wasn't a major problem. I would thoroughly recommend you stay at this hotel!

Rooms are modern and spacious. We chose a room on the non-smoking floor and there is no stench of smoke whatsoever. Bathroom had separate shower and bath tub. Our baby loved the bath! The concierge staff were extremely friendly and attentive, giving useful advice. On leaving they even presented us with a pen! Breakfast was included in the hotel price, which was excellent. There was a spa voucher and lottery ticket for the casino, which we didn't use.

Perhaps the distance from the main tourist area, but as Macau is so small and there is a shuttle bus it is really no problem. The pool area was really nice but it would have been good if there was some shelter

overall speaking, everything's alright. It's value for money spend a few days here. A minor area is the standard and performance of staff could have room for improvement.

I love staying in the hotel because the room was so nice. The bathroom was huge, and most of all the pillows were so good. I loved it. I was a bit disappointed because no gym was available for free. I'm a sport mania. All the hotel staff were nice and helpful. Drinking water was available 24 hours, and I really appreciated that. Taxis were always available in front of the lobby. And the hotel was so clean and fresh. The restaurant was great, the breakfast was nice. I also love the mini shop near the lobby. It was so nice to get everything I need there, especially snacks and soft drinks. Amazing hotel! I'll stay there again if I visit Macau again in the future. I'll also recommend it to my friends. But please, gym for free.

My stay in Macau was enhanced by my experience with the accommodation at the Grand Waldo Hotel. Although the majority of the staff had little or no English speaking skills they made an extra effort to understand and provide excellent service. Although I did not have occasion to use it, I was impressed by the fact that you could transfer the value of unused breakfast vouchers. What also impressed me greatly was the fact that btoadband internet access was provided free of charge.

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel although we did not spend much time in the hotel to enjoy more of its facilities. We were most impressed with the spa facilities and thought that it was a very good idea to have a family concept spa. Perhaps for those who wanted to have a massage only, the cover charge can be waived. The concierge and counter staff were very friendly and helpful and it was good to have a bank within the premises.

I stayed in the hotel for the 2nd time now, it is really a good hotel to stay at. Honest and helpful officer, quick service for check-in and -out. A couple of minutes to go to VENETIAN. Near to International Airport and not to forget is the SPA.

It's a economy hotel with a team of nice staff and comfort & cleaness hotel for having a short stay but not good for someone who are looking for doing shopping around as nothing exciting around the hotels!

When I just arrive at the hotel, the first impression is that the hotel is really grand and beautiful. The bellboy and the receptionist all are friendly and communication at the hotel is not the problem for me. The room is nice and clean. I like it and it also provide lots of channels, especially sports channel. The hotel have its own casino also. However, the casino is not as nice as Venetian, which is just around the area. So if it can improve this, I think it will be excellent. To conclude the review, I would say that I would come back to stay here again. It is an unforgettable holiday.
