good value for the money. I would stay here again... and have!
Same food over and over... and mostly all Asian, would expect a 5 star rating to cater to world guests just not Asian. The front door staff is Great; John, Ruiz and the boys make you really feel at home and are very friendly. a good way to get around is to take the hotel bus to the ferry terminal and then take a city bus or other casino busses --they are all FREE!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : TAKING THE HOTEL BUS TO FERRY TERMINAL THEN CITY BUS TO GET AROUND, OR HOP ON OTHER CASINO BUSES--- FREE!

Large bright room overlooking the water, huge soaking tub and separate glass-walled shower made both my husband and me happy.
Breakfast although plentiful with many choices was not anything special.
Loved the location, the spacious clean room overlooking the water and the newly renovated bathrooms with massive soaking tub and glass-walled shower. Beautiful tiles, well-lit and well-appointed with lots of amenities including a stocked mini-bar, coffee/tea station, soft terry bathrobes and all this for a modest rate! The staff at reception were charming and helpful. I'm sure you can't get a better deal anywhere nearby.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Definitely worth a stroll through the Venetian's opulent shopping mall, just a short walk away. Every store under the sun, and a lovely Italian village to entertain you. Oh, and a casino ;-)

The price is fairly resonable, room is spacious and clean. I received two vouchers for afternoon tea upon check in, it was excellent. Hotel lobby was spacious and smell fresh as I'm non smoker. And the room I had was facing the river which was swamp, there were a lot of birds to watch and the beautiful sunset.
It was a bit outskirt. I was travelled with young baby, calling a taxi is a must to travel to the city. And the taxi service wasn't excellent there. We had to wait for quite a while each time.
For the booking, it was easy. Even I had questions after the booking confirmation, I could talk to the Agoda's staff right away through internet. The hotel was matched for the description. There were quite a few choices for restaurant. We went to one of the Chinese Shanghai Restaurant, the food was excellent.
Shopping Tip : There are a shopping outlet will be opening soon in the hotel, so hopefully it will bring more fun in the future to stay there.

I liked complimentary free internet services, bus services provided by the Hotel. The staffs in general were courtesies as during the check-out; I was informed on of the dresses left behind for enabling me to take immediate action. I truly felt that rates offered by the Hotel were quite competitive.
They had allotted a Lousy Room, located at the far end of the Lobby. The shower was not working, which I had highlighted, but yet corrective action was not taken. I was struggling to close the sliding Bathroom Door, which defunct. I was provided two complimentary break-fast, but wasted one for all the 4 days as I had checked-in single.
I came to Macau for attending a conference at "The Venetian" Hotel; as I couldn’t avail corporate rates at the Hotel, I had opted for “The Grand Waldo”, which I do not repent. In spite of few shortcomings, my overall experience has been good; at least, I got an opportunity to see Macau, by traveling to and forth between the Hotels. I surely look forward to using Agoda services again and staying at similar Hotels with improved services.

A very recent hotel with big and comfortable rooms. There is a shuttle bus to the Macau Ferry Terminal.
It is quite a long way from Macau itself and from Taipa Village, but there are taxis and even buses, I believe.
We only spent one night there (Oct. 16) but enjoyed our stay although the hotel is quite a long way out. The rooms are generously sized and comfortable, the breakfast buffet was all right, but we didn't like the casino nextdoor. There were dozens of slot machines but only two roulette tables and hardly any gamblers so a hotel in the centre of Macau might be a better choice if gambling is what you want to go to Macau for.

Spa, the breakfast spread, the wide variety of tv channels, the service @ the frontdesk and concierge, the complimentary bar for executive rooms.
The food standard @ their restaurant.
The Spa was fantastic! We landed after midnite and as our hotel check-in was for the next day, we checked ourselves into the spa instead after asking for the $50-voucher in advance from the hotel frontdesk. We had a good shower, washed up and even supper! The spread was pretty ok, internet was available too! Service was good as well. We opted for an Executive Room so there was a welcome drink and complimentary bar. The breakfast spread was pretty good, but food at their restaurant leaves much to be desired. But overall, we enjoyed our stay.
Restaurant Tip : Check out the buffet dinner @ the Macau Tower. Food is good, and the view fantastic.

Food and new renovate room
Room it self is bit small
I am a seasonal traveller and it's my and my girl friend first time stay in this hotel. The reception area is good with a very friendly staff. Food was excellence and the room is in a very new condition. It's quite far away from Macau city but there is a free shuttle bus service to you with a fews connecting point. It actually very near to many shopping mall only about 5 minutes Taxi to those areas. It's a fine stay overall.

Nice and clean, not far from Venetian hotel.
It's far from many sightseeing places and difficult to find a taxi.
Love this hotel..totally worth the money you spend. Room is sooo clean and spacious, like the decoration and soft furniture...all details are just great and comfortable. Location is not bad, if I get a chance, I will stay in this hotel again. If they can provide in room wifi or internet connection would be perfect. I checked those eating places and found them very enjoyable.

value for money, close to airport
This hotel is at the moment away from other hotels shopping though in a year of two the surrounding will have developed in a major casino
hub with entertrainment. Construction works are carried out at the monment.
The biggest hotel/casino the venetian is about 15 minutes walk from this hotel and there the shopping area is so huge that I managed to get lost for some time.
The great waldo is a fine hotel for family as it is quiet and less people patronise the casino.
there
Hotel Feature Tip : not noisy with gamblers hanging around

offer us with free late check out time till 1:30pm and free carpark of 24 hours
should offer discount if dine at the restaurants in the hotel
hotel is a bit far away, but service is quite good. As they offer late check out and rooms quite is quite big and comfortable. But the breakfast is not very delicious and choices are not much. It would be very much appreciated if they offer discount if dine at the restaurants in the hotel

Generally quiet and peaceful as the activities blocks are separated from the accommodation block.
Long wait for Taxi. Breakfast spread needs improvement.
The hotel is a cheaper alternative if you do not want to stay in Venetian Macau but yet wants to visit the place. The hotel service staff are generally patience and friendly, however the hotel security is not quite tight especially in the night. Though the hotel rooms are clean, but the cigarret smell lingers in the airconditioning system. For my colleagues who are sensitive to the smell, they did not have a good night sleep. Suggest they increase non smoking floors.

Got room upgrade, clean & nice sized room, GREAT room price, convenience store in lobby, friendly & helpful staff, quite room
stark pool environment, lack of taxis, many employees don't know English
very convenient location at a great price compared to other hotels in the area. Nice room that did the trick after a busy night out & about in Macau!
Nightlife Tip : Venetian, City of Dreams...right around the corner!

Lobby is relatively clean & spacious
bed is very hard, interior of the room is quite old-fashioned; still using the "white light" in the bathroom, should at least use off-white, warm light.
Basically the hotel is only good because it's relatively inexpensive on a friday nite; if you are only looking for a clean place to stay for one night, then okay. Otherwise, it's really not up to the standard of a modern day five-star hotel. Overall very old fashioned PRC type of hotel. Also, the staff at the check-in are not particularly friendly, though the staff at the concierge are fine & helpful. The lunch is okay, given that you only need to add $33 to it if you miss the breakfast. Fair deal.
Restaurant Tip : There's a "goonya" street nearby (5min cab), which is like a small town setting, with good food.

Great room reasonable prices. The best chinese restaurant with BBQ roast pork.
Far from city, not very much breakfast.
This is a very big hotel. The room is very comfortable. It is very close to Venetian macau. Very good hotel for family. The chinese restaurant inside the hotel is something any guests shoudn't miss. I enjoyed my stay very much and will come back anytime I visit Macau.
Restaurant Tip : Chinese restaurant.
