Location bad and facilities poor

I was upgraded to a bigger room.
The room is clean and tidy.
But the facilities of the hotel is poor.
and i cannot accept a hotel without free wifi.
it only provides a 3 hour free wifi and then u got to pay.
even internet service u got to pay for any extra 3 hours usage too.
this is really not acceptable.

As a budget traveller since i am new in place like taipa macau, Grandview hotel are best for great location which has an easy acess for transportation and restaurants. Rooms are very clean espcially the linens and bathroom. Also it is near in Venetian Hotel.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile. Great location in Taipa, Macau!!! Bus stop is just right beside the hotel and restaurants are all nearby. Nice staff and great room with high standard!!!

everything is clean and neat. the room is big but there are not much facilities in the hotel, not even a pleasant restaurant or any shops. the location is not good, there is nothing much too see around. and the most of all, there is no internet service, u need to pay for it, how can this be acceptable in 2012? u only got 3 hours free and the rest u got to pay???!!!!

Bad location but good value for what it's worth

a well run 3 star property that is not as seedy, smoky or sleazy as most of other macau hotels in the same category. it has a small gaming section but very tame compare to most of the others.
hotel situated in some god forsaken corner of the cotai area and it's too far to walk to anywhere interesting. taxis aren't abundant and during peak hours almost impossible to grab one. closest entertainment and dining options are in the galaxy or venetian complexes, a short taxi ride away though the hotel does have a decent chinese restaurant. quite a few foot massage parlours in the vincinity and most do look genuine.
Travel tip:
Most taxi drivers wouldn't know this hotel by its english name so make sure you print out the Chinese name and carry it with you. Macau taxi drivers are mostly impatient, rude and surly. Even shouted at me for not knowing the hotels Chinese name, it's their poor social etiquette, I just barked back louder and they back off. Tend to take tourists for a ride too I suspect.

Decent hotel - good value for money

The room was decent size with good views. The service was very good. If you don't mind waling or taking taxi - everything is relatively close.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take a taxi to all the places - taxi to City of Dreams and Galaxy is about 15MOP - the bus is 5MOP - so if you more then one person - very economical to use Taxi

This was my second time to live in Grandview hotel in Macau. I chose this because the price was really reasonable. Although the location was less convenient, it just took a little more time to arrive there. The room was big and the bedsheets were clean. Bathroom was fine but a little bit old. No breakfast was included. However, it was not a problem at all as there were many choices in Macau for dinning.

Hotel staff polite, good attitude, Select this hotel in addition to reasonable prices, convenient location and is also a preferred cause. Room clean, the bed is very comfortable, very close to Macau Racecourse, the landscape is very good near the close convenience stores and supermarkets.Be considered to live in Taipa / Cotai , quite worthy of recommendation!
