Came here a few months back, pretty close to the casinos, and lots of eating areas around the hotel. Hotel reception was very nice and helped out get a free upgrade.
rooms are pretty big.

Located near Rua do Cunha, where you can find most of the local cuisine, the hotel's location is quite nice. Also, it is not far from Galaxy Macau so it is not hard to find your entertainment.

Spectacular view at convenient location

It was a last minute booking and was initially looking for a budget stay for the night.
The view was surprisingly good for the price and room was tidy clean and comfy.
Only downside was it was too packed with vacation groups which you will definitely find anytime of the day.

i have stayed at the grandview over 50 nights this year due to business. for the price its a good deal, however if you want internet in your room, its 100MOP/DAY. Which easily adds up if you stay a week. However free wifi in lobby.
Restaurants are good, not too pricey. Location near supermarkets and quite a few restaurants nearby. rooms are nice enough, even the standard rooms.

The hotel is very clean with a couple of casinos nearby and in-house. Five mins cab ride to Venetian hotel. Ten to fifteen mins walk to places of interest (e.g. Portugese buildings) Three to five mins walk to cafeteria for breakfast and dinner.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Try out the jackpot machines. :P
