Relatively "cheap" during Chinese New Year

The most inattentive bell service desk. Most guests are from China tour groups. They were very loud, threw their luggage in the middle of the lobby.
Upon check-in, front desk asked for HKD$500 "key deposit" -- a ridiculous amount! So what if I lose the little plastic card? Would they really charge me HKD$500 for it? Option to pay for it in cash -- then you would get the cash upon checkout, or otherwise, it would take up to 3 weeks to refund to your credit card.
Had to go out on the street to hail taxis since bell service existed as decoration only I suppose.
Rooms were old and not impressive.
No attractions within walking distance -- you need to take the cab everywhere.
Only stayed here because all other hotels were insanely priced during Chinese New Year, but I felt like I definitely overpaid for this! Would not stay here again!
Hotel Feature Tip:
Walk outside to hail a taxi because doormen don't do anything but chat with other staff.

One of the most dissappointing hotels in Macau
Near to Venetian and Galaxy

For some reason (end of Chinese New Year Holidays) Macao was fully booked the night we stayed here. From a 10 day trip to Macao, Bangkok and Samui, this was the most expensive hotel even the others were all 5 star. to stay in this hole. Horrible attitude and treatment in the front desk when checking in at night (we had to wait for 10 minutes for the receptionist because she was having dinner behind). Breakfast is to forget, there is nothing around in the walking distance and the room is poor chinese standard. This is in reality a Chinese 3 star hotel. We just slept 6 hours there and tried to leave inmediately the day after

i had been staying there for 2 days.i feel very convenient for looking for the foods where just step out from lobby we can find easily the foods and bus station outside the hotel .

The hotel is located in Taipa and quite clean in the room. the staff in hotel quite polite and very professional. The only thing that i dont like is very hard to catch a taxi

Booked the premier room and it's the newly renovated room. Room is big enough, clean and tidy
Location is acceptable coz there is a bus stop next to the hotel. Lots of bus route to macau island. Next to 官也街 and there is a shuttle bus to galaxy

The hotel may not look impressive outside but the interiors are okay..clean,looks like newly renovated and the staff polite. The buffet breakfast offered simply needs a LOT of improvement- menu should be expanded..when one is reads BUFFET we expect a wider range of choices..and delicious and appealing at that.
