Overall everything is good, a brand new luxary hotel with well facilities.
Front office manager has good customer service skills. However, front desk agent should improve their customer service.
Restaurant Tip:

a very new hotel. nice decoration, clean and spacious room.
there are 3 hotels in macao cotai central, sheraton, conrad and holiday inn. though the grading of holiday inn is the lowest amougst the 3, you won't be disappointed about the quality. we were impressed by their clean room and good service. the toilet amenities are also good.
room rates are very reasonable and we got upgrading to high floor room with better view as well. check out service was very efficient. sure, i will come again.

the holiday inn is a new hotel/casino from the sands group that interconnects the sheraton. the casino is adequate for all different types of games and cleanliness of the place is excellent.
the grand orbit buffet had a very wide variety of food at an affordable price.
the beds are huge and extremely comfortable!

More Than I Expected

When all famous hotels in Macau charged more than HK$3.5-5k on X'mas Day. I didn't expect too much to Holiday Inn as its room rate just HK$2.xxk. At the end, I was surprised. First, location is not bad, it is at the corner of main street. Opposite to Venetian and Hardrock, lobby connecting to Conrad and Sheraton (they shared the same shopping centre, casino and coffee shop). Room is clean and tidy, room size, of course smaller than Venetian, Galaxy, HardR etc. but is more than enough (bathroom layout even better than HardR), decoration and amenities are OK as well. As the building next to Holiday Inn is still under construction, view of some guestrooms are not very pleasant in day time. Anyway, who care?! we're out till mid-night.

The room is spacious and everything is fine except there is no wifi in room. There are plenty of food in various cuisine in the buffet breakfast but need to line up to wait for seating arrangement at around 10.

check in wasn't as smooth as I thought. The Front office had to re-check my booking for approx 5 minutes. Other than that, everything was great, just not too much shuttle bus to choose from. That's why we always have to take taxi or walk over to their competitor hotels. The rooms are still good as new. Check out process was excellent.
Travel tip:
Make sure you go on to the correct shuttle bus with "hotel name" placed in the front of the bus. We jumped on the Green shuttle bus with "Sheraton, Holiday Inn and Conrad" and ended up stopping at Sheraton. It's not a long distance to walk but its better to give better signs to guests.

this was probably my nth time stayed at this hotel. this was new built and linked with two other hotels together. there were two casino inside the building. i specifically liked the in room dinning service. the food was delicious and very fast to delivery to my room. the prices of food were fair and 24 hours. the room was not very big but enough for two person. i would definitely com back to this hotel. i am a frequent travellers. this would be one of my favourite hotels in macau.

It is a very big and beautiful hotel to stay. It was nicely decorated during Christmas and the location is very good to go around. Distance to Venetian is just opposite the road. Free shuttle can be found everywhere in hotel or nearby hotels . Food easily found at the hotel food court. Overall everything is good except there is no free wifi in the room which is a bit upset.

I was wowed by the hotel lobby when I first entered through the glass doors. I least expected how grand the hotel would be. As I visited Macau during Xmas season, the hotel boasts of beautiful Xmas decorations and made one truly immerse in the season joyous mood!
The hotel is very accessible, just less than 10 minutes car ride from the taipa ferry terminal which I arrived at and what's more desirable was the complimentary shuttle service provided for ferry transfers to the hotel! Awesome! It's also connected to other major hotels and shopping centres such as Sands Cotai, Conrad, Venetian! Indeed a one-stop location for travellers!
I would also like to commend the hotel staff for their good service! While enjoying complimentary drinks at the hotel lounge, I received attentive service from the hotel staff whom also provided great recommendations on food and beverage orders!
