Very roomy and clean. The hotel provides free buses to airport and ferry terminals. Good restaurants and not very expensive. Very friendly staff.

Holiday inn shares the same tower block as Conrad. But ingenuously divides our so that guests of the two different hotels use different lifts to access the rooms. Also have separate gyms and pols. Also ingeniously separated. It's like one building with two hotels. The room amenities are great. You'll have to pay for internet access though.
I was impressed with the housekeeper who cleaned my room after my first night. You see I left my shaver, and personal bathroom amenities in disarray in the basin top. The housekeeper re-arranges all my stud neatly under a nice white towel. So thoughtful!
Restaurant Tip:
there is a newly open food court for economically priced food. if you're into indian food - try aruna. it's authentic. i has the mutton bryani for mop80 and masala dosai for mop50. delicious!

I visited Holiday Inn Macao Cotai for the 1st time and stayed in between Nov. 1-3, 2012. Considering its comparably lower room rate, I was much impressed by the proactive service of the hotel staff -- especially the front desk and reception staff. The Grand Orbit restaurant where I had my buffet dinner and the Hotel Lounge as well, offered very good value and service. On the whole, Holiday Inn changed my bad impression that hotel service in Macao is generally deteriorating due to the rise of too many 5-star hotels. However, the Hotel can do better to ensure that guests can check in on time , or no later than 6 pm. I'll certainly visit this hotel again.
