this is our first visit to hotel okura. our family were pleased with the hotel facilities, service at the galaxgy resort. we will definitely return this summer for vacation again.
Travel tip:
The resort offer complimentary shuttle bus service to hotel guest and it will bring you to most tourist or central location. Great service!

5 Stars Hardware but 3-4 Stars Service

It was not feeling well in second day. There was no communication between house-keeping and main desk because my key-pass was reseted and couldn't get into my room after the house-keeping cleaning room service in the second day morning. Staff in main lobby only troubled me instead of showing their helping service. Anyway, no good feeling in terms of hotel services. Another frustrated feeling was ordering food and drink in pool side. Showing the irresponsible service by each other among the many staff around the pool side. Really not professional! You will feel happier if you don't insist on a professional hotel services. As hotel hardware is good enough, it is still a hotel deserved to be recommended.
Travel tip:
High tea in Okura coffee shop is good!

Not only a casino hotel
casino plus many other hotel features

waiting for long time to see that there is a hotel not only having casino soley but with many other features such as outdoor swimming pool, outdoor warm water swimming pool, outdoor hot jacuzzi. so there is no problem of swimming even in winter. the most amazing part is the ua cinemas there. many mini theaters can provide at least 4-5 new films even at midnight. really feel good! okura and banyan tree side of course are more silent than galaxy side. a good choice for family especially there are not much visitors from china during easter (tips).
hardware is 6 stars, but need much much more time for staff to train up how to be a 5-6 stars hotel!
Hotel Feature Tip:
Not like other casino, it is BRIGHT enough in Galaxy Casino. Sure Win!

Starting when I checked in, I began to experience the professional and efficient services at the hotel lobby. Staff always smile at you. And they were all very friendly and attended to details, they apologized to me even when I was just waiting for 5 minutes.
The room was spacious and had virtually everything I needed for a comfortable and relax stay. It had easy access to the huge outdoor and indoor pool and a modern gym. i made an enjoyable stay at this hotel and will definitely come again in the future.
Restaurant Tip:
Must try the Japanese restaurant there.

it was a lovely place to stay with friends and family. We plan to have a relax short holiday and we end up enjoying the hotel half of our vacation. There are so many good food to eat in Macau so the restaurant inside the hotel is relatively weak. But there transportation to everywhere is easy.
Hotel Feature Tip:
the beach is a must to go even you don't swim but have a cup of tea besides it.

our deluxe room was upgraded by the hotel to the executive floor with a balcony. It's nice. The facility in the room is even nice. You can imagine watching tv when taking a bath. It's so nice. Watch out for the toilet and you can find amazing experience. The service level is very high with nice reception and even nice cleaning lady with very good attitude. Just hope that the hotel can extend the check-out time from 11am to 12noon.

the hotel just opened last year if i'm not mistaken, so the room is very much clean and nicely designed. i love the lighting and the interior of the room as well. just be careful to read the room information when you book a stay. the room we stayed in has two beds but the size were just single beds, so it was very small for us. good for small people but too small for tall people.
