amenities are nice. beds are comfortable.

tv size too small. no location maps available, so don't know where hotel is in comparison with the other ones. Breakfast item selection is pathetic. Snacks available for free are 2 bags of chips. And they use this as a special feature.

this is more a problem with macau than the hotel. taxis are difficult to get unless it's early in the morning. It seems like that taxis don't come into the hotels unless they're dropping a fare off. and hotel staff don't care even though you've been waiting 15 or 20 mins. If you need one, go outside the hotel and try to flag one down. Hotel itself is up to par but billing it as a 5star is a bit too presumptious. It is more a 4star.

The room was nice and spacious and bathroom was very elegant with black and white marble floors and walls. I like the idea of the shower and tub being separate.

Lobby of the hotel was not very inviting could do with some couch or more comfy sofa's to sit on while waiting. Didn't like the elevator system, we had to take another set of elevators after the sixth floor.

A very convenient hotel to stay if you like being downtown and proximity to public transport station was not bad a few blocks away to where you could catch buses that you could take to visit other areas of Macau. Just across Wynn Casino and a short walk to a park which was a nice break from casino hoppng if you get tired of gambling.Breakfast buffet was good with variety of foods and nice ambiance. Staff were helpful and presumably pleasant as all of them were doning mask due to H1N1 scare? Another nice feature of the hotel is the free drinks and snack that they stock their fridge with upon arrival. The free bus from the ferry terminal to the hotel is an added bonus.

Clean hotel,nice location

You have to pay to use the steam and sauna. I was told it was part of room rate.

My stay in the Landmark, Macau was good. Nice location and very clean. Bed is very comfortable. I was just disapointed when I was told to pay for the use of steam and sauna. I think this should be include in the room rate. Internet is free! The minibar is also free (1 set per day-soda, beer, nuts, chips). A plus for them.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Macau Heritage Tour- a must do! Don't be deceived by the map - places in Macau are near! It may look far with the map but not really. Walking is teh best means to go around.

Old furnitures, need to reform inside

In total, I am satisfied with staying the hotel. Location is very good to visit the center of the city and ferry terminal. Thier service is excellent and I enjoyed staying there. And security is also very good. When I visit Macau again, I will stay in the same hotel.

Services and nice rooms

Breakfast was average

Landmark was centrally located and easily accessible to most amenities. Walking distance to most of the popular historical sites. The hotel itself was very clean. The rooms were very nicely decorated with a very spacious bathroom which was a plus for me. Mini-bar was also free including in-room internet connection. The security guards were very polite and were always very friendly. We used the gym a few times and found that to be a great place to unwine. Gym was fully equipped with most of your popular machines and free-weights. The casino had all the gambling tables that you would expect but it was not as large as the Venetian. However, I found myself spending numerous hours there. Services at the casino was also excellent. Friendly dealers, pit-bosses and security. Overall, i would recommend to stay at the Landmark for its services, convenience and value for your money.

Clean and convenient

Breakfast area is a bit tight for the numbers of guests in the hotel

We had a very enjoyable stay at the htoel. This hotel is in a good location in the heart of the Macau city and close to all other newer and more expensive hotels and casinos. We like this hotel because it is not as noisy and big and not with hundred of gamblers moving in and out of the hotels eventhough it has a decent casino. The service was excellent and facilities were right up to expectations. I would return to this hotel in our next holiday in Macau.

Hotel Feature Tip : It has a nice and quiet indoor pool area

Value perhaps, but wouldn't stay here again Guest Rating: 5.7

Spacious rooms, descent location, good value

Unfriendly staff, not accomodating, old casinos

I stayed at the Landmark more for the value for the money. Indeed, this was a spacious hotel that was in a convenient location. However, I would not stay here again. The staff was unfriendly and not very accommodating. We needed to extend our room by one night and it because a very difficult situation in which the hotel wanted to downgrade our room in order for us to have the same room during our entire visit. I felt I was taken advantage of, being a female foreigner. Unfortunately, that does happen in parts of Asia including Macau. Still, the hotel felt very large and cold. I’m not a gambler, but did visit the casinos which were not nice at all. It seemed visitors were not very welcome. At least the location is good, so you can get away from the hotel and go to some of the nicer hotel casinos/restaurants if you want to enjoy some of Macau’s nightlife. I would definitely not stay here again. If you are on a budget and just need a bed within walking distance to nicer places, then this might work for you.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go to Fernandos in Hac Sac beach. It's definitely worth the taxi drive...excellent Portugese food.

Close to the big casinos.

It's needed to take 2 lifts to reach the rooms.

The hotel is very comfortable and clean. The staff is kind and helpful. The localization is on a big road with taxis and buses, but you can walk to the main casinos and attractions. We couldn't have breakfast one day due to a long queue to the breakfast area, but the food is ok. Most of people in the city don't speak English including taxi drivers.

Restaurant Tip : Try the Portuguese restaurant called "Camões", on Fisherman's Wharf. All the cod fish meals are good !!!

The hotel staff is really friendly and the hotel is very elegant looking with Marble Floors and walls everywhere!

Not a whole lot of English spoken, so don't try asking for directions, etc. The casino was a joke.

Overall, I cannot complain about this hotel. At a 5-Star (Dec 04 - Dec 06, 2008), it was well worth the price. The hotel staff is really friendly, and the hotel is very nice. It has Marble floors and walls and the room I had contained a really huge Marble bathroom, complete with separate tub and stand up shower. The minibar was free for the first consumption, and the internet access was free too. The hotel is close to the Wynn hotel and you can walk to many things around you. If you want to go to other attractions such as Fishermans Warf, or to the Macau Tower, you will need to take a taxi, but that is generally readily available too. Oh yeah... if you do stay at this hotel and you are coming off the Ferry from Hong Kong... be sure to take the shuttle right outside the Ferry Terminal. It is FREE! The only real downside I had with this hotel is that the Pharoah Casino inside of it was a real joke. The guards make you get a players card to enter first and you go through this rigorous security check, etc. Then you get inside only to find that there are only a few table for gambling... nothing else. SAD!

Good location and facilities.

I always impressed with friendly efficient staffs here. But in this visit, staffs still efficient but not quite friendly. Need to be improved

Landmark Hotel is my first list when visit Macau. The hotel is located in the city. It's just few minutes walk to MGM, Lisboa, Wynn or Senado square. Deluxe room are very spacious with good quality of decoration and amenity kit. Also there is a fresh scent in hotel start from lobby to the room. Heated-swimming pool also give me refresh.

- Free Mini bar. - Hotel is clean, room is spacious. - Free in room Wireless Broadband internet (VPN Supported). - Heated In door swimming pool.

- some may be annoyed to take next elevator at 6 flr. but I think this is a good security. West Wing will get bigger room but close to elevator, east wing smaller room but quiet.

I love the location. It's located just opposite StarWorld and Wynn right beside Presidente and Lisboa. All of named are in 2-3 minutes walking distance. Staffs at front desk is quite efficient upon check-in time. But not efficient at the check out time. The staffs does not service people in queue. But this is most common problem you face when visiting China / Macau.
