its history and grandeur; its location room does not come with breakfast Macau has a lot of 5-star hotels but Hotel Lisboa stands out because of its history. Not as shiny on the outside as, say, its sister hotel Grand Lisboa or the nearby Wynn Hotel, its interior is still jaw-droppingly opulent, from the glittering chandelier in its West Wing lobby to the tiles lining the standard room's bathroom floor. It's a real five-star experience, and a more affordable one. On the practical side, one of the great points about the hotel is its location. Almost all the buses stop there. It is also just a 5-10 minute walk from Senado Square. The famous Margaret's egg tarts are even a shorter walk away.
Hotel Feature Tip : If you arrive early, you can leave your bags at the concierge. All the drinks in the mini-bar are free -- just remember to put the empty cans or bottles back in the refrigerator.

Great location. Almost all the buses stop there. Senado square is a short walk away. Opulent yet affordable. No breakfast. The passageways between the West Wing and the East Wing can be confusing! The great thing about Hotel Lisboa -- apart from its obvious luxury -- is its location. Right beside the hotel is a stop for practically all the buses in Macau. If you ever get lost in Macau, just look for the golden lotus shape of its sister hotel, the Grand Lisboa, and you'll know the Hotel Lisboa is just beside it. Senado Square and all its charming side streets are only a brisk 5-minute walk away. The hotel staff are very friendly (well, almost all of them), and they will point out all the must-see spots in your map. If you don't have a map, they'll give you one, and a guide book to boot!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Forget the Macau Tower (unless you're going bungee jumping) and the Venetian (ho hum). Take a bus -- any bus -- from the stop just beside Hotel Lisboa and get lost in Macau. Explore its side streets by foot and take comfort that you can just catch [almost] any bus back to the hotel.

Nice bedroom and Jucuzzi Shower cubical... I had booked 2 rooms and the stay was a pleasant one. The aircon is good. Room is big. Good location as this hotel is near to major Casino like Grand Lisboa, Wynn and MGM. Walking to Senado square is near and transportation. Will definitely come back to stay at this hotel again.
