Rooms were spacious and well-maintained. Also, the hotel was very quiet, as the proprietors claimed. Location was good - within walking distance of the ferry and a few casinos. the breakfast buffet was also great, featuring a selection of western and asian items. The front desk staff is helpful, but not overly so. Unless you ask exactly the right question, you won't get an answer. The MetroPark hotel is in a decent location, within 20 minute walk from the ferry terminal, or about a $20 MOP cab ride. The hotel also runs a shuttle back and forth every 30 minutes or so. Within walking distance of several casinos, and without its own is fairly calm and quiet. Rooms were spacious and clean. Some cab drivers do not speak any english, so you should take a copy of the name of the hotel in chinese if you're going to be out and about. Also, the breakfast buffet in the hotel was great: very good mix of Western and Asian items.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Have the name of the hotel written in Chinese so you can make your way back easily: many of the cab drivers don't speak English.

the hotel is not near the major tourist destination like: S. Paul's & Camões Garden..
prepare a long walking distant or take a cab when you go the places mentioned above. when we first arrived there, the traffic and streets are complex for first arriver...spend too much time to find the place end up everyone all very tired, especially my 4yrs daughter. we tried an afternoon, after it we travel around by taxi for better time management and comfortable. the taxi fee is reasonable there.

Room is without view. All were blocked by the neighbor building. Though I like the location but it's really difficult for us to find the hotel in the first place because taxi seemed confused about the name. We ended up in the middle of nowhere. We have to ask other hotel's concierge to help us write down in Chinese. Anyway, in terms of service, it's ok although we're not so impressed for that!
Shopping Tip : There's 7-Eleven nearby. Also the Mocha Casino. Makes our life even better.

The breakfast provided was the best I have ever been to. It combines western breakfast with Chinese breakfast and satisfies all tastes. It is provided as part of the room rates, but at 90HKD it is still a bargain. There is no lounge area per se where one can just sit and chat. The area around the internet only seats four and not set up for more than 2 people to have a conversation. Located off the main strip, it is in a quiet area. Rooms are spacious neat and clean. Provides a very comfortable stay and would definitely return. Very good value for the money as especially since the very nice breakfast is included.

Nice and far from casinos. You need to wait 30mins if u miss their free shuttle bus going to the ferry terminal. Nice and affordable!

Newly renovated - tastefully done & neat
Rooms are larger than expected
Good location We had a pleasant stay there. Rooms were larger than expected and everything seems to be new. Staff were proficient in English and helpful. There were trustworthy too. My wife left her rings in the room and there were untouched!

- Good & convenient location.
- Room is clean and comfortable.
- Hotel's food quality is satisfactory and price is reasonable. Dining in is recommended as having bad experience with local restaurant during our stay.
- Staff is helpful and efficient. - We were disturbed by the noise generated by the renovation work nearby while trying to catch some rest in the afternoon. Overall, my wife and myself enjoyed our stay in Metropark Hotel. The location is good and convenient. Major attractions, hotels and casinos in Macau are within walking distance. The staff is helpful and efficient especially in allocating the room that suit your preference. We were initially allocated a room without Internet connection and upon our request, the staff allocated another room with Internet connection for us within minutes and within 30 minutes, we have shifted to another room. We will definitely choose Metropark Hotel if we are visiting Macau again.

spatious rooms and bathroom The hotel was ok. We choosed it for the great location (close to Lisboa and city center) and for the great deal we got from Agoda.
The rooms were spacious and clean.
The only "problem" was that the check in took a little bit longer.
The breakfast was just ok, you could find something good to eat everyday.
The minute you get out from the hotel there is a bad smell everywhere: a food and garbage mixture. Thanks God you couldn't smell it the second you entered the hotel.
they also provided a shuttle bus to the ferry terminal (it was helpful when we went to Hong Kong for a day trip).

Including b/fast, free access internet, room size bigger than HK. Lack of local map, language, not many nice food around the hotel. Every way u go must take taxi. The hotel is very comfortable. The place/ building surround it are hotels, casino, office building.
Therefore, we must take taxi to those travel point including shopping street. For my family of 5 (including very young kids of 2 & 5), it is really not convenience to us. My kids were easily tired. Then we have to go back to hotel to let them rest.
The food around the hotel are not very good. My kids didn't eat much there.

Hotel is nearby to the casino and restaurant. a bit far from the shopping hot spot Restaurant Tip : Must try the food stall that at the same street...all the food put in the same bowl and boil..must try the variety of beef 'spare part'!!

Friendly frontdesk staff. The room are comfortable, clean and quite big. Only 15 minutes at a time allowed on lobby Internet. Metropark Hotel is a good budget hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. It is within walking distance to Holiday Inn and Lisboa Hotel where you will find a casino. Recommended for those who want to avoid noisy crowds in big casino hotel. The hotel do provide free shuttle from Macau-Hong Kong ferry terminal.

Well situated on the main Macau island, within easy walking distance to most of the tourist attractions.
Nice clean rooms. No hotel lobby porter. Poor in-room Wi-Fi. Only 15 minutes at a time allowed on lobby Internet. Near useless in-room cable TV if you don't speak Chinese. In room telephone did not work properly, reception not very helpful with my request at trying to make a local phone call, just directing me to a public pay phone. Although billed as a 4 star hotel I've stayed in nicer 3-star ones. Upon checking-in with my girlfriend we were bizarrely given a twin room despite my asking (obviously) for a double. We were told they would notify us as soon as a double became available which was likely to be the next day after checking in, but we never heard from them again. So much furniture shuffling later we were happy in our room. It is near all the main island casinos and tourist attractions. Breakfast was the usual buffet affair and was ok. In-room Wi-Fi was dog slow unless using Google Chrome browser. Friendly concierge was very helpful. Lobby area needs spicing up a bit, looked a bit drab. Definitely cheap and likely to remain so as more and more casinos spring up in Macau especially on Taipa near the massive Venetian Casino. Free shuttle to ferry (until 9pm) where most casinos have free shuttles to their casinos.
Nightlife Tip : Get a long to the Venetian Casino in Taipa if you fancy a great night in a casino with many good bars and great restaurants as well. Use the free shuttle services to get there.

Very convenient. It's in the middle of Macau. You can reach any tourist spots by a short walk or by bus. The bus stop is right in front and the back of the hotel. For those with a budget , Metropark would be the right choice. This is my first stay at Metropark for my 3rd visit to Macau. Metropark is my favorite compared to my previous stays in Sintra and Casa Real. Sintra is not bad but the room does not come with breakfast.
The room is big enough and clean. Easy to get around and a short distant walk to nearby casinos. The hotel is also providing shuttle every half an hour to the ferry terminal. The breakfast is adequate.
