Location - central area easy access and easy to get taxis from there

The metropol was well located with easy access to many interesting parts of Macau and good transtopt links. It is next door to Pavillions which is a lovely delicatesin.
the aircon was adjustiable in your own room which was good.
The rooms were small and the beds very unconfortable, the bath tub was too small to have a proper bath.
The service was OK witht front desk arranging Taxis and other such things for us.

Nice, clean, roomy and easy accessible to Ferry by free shuttle bus. Staff are very helpful and polite.

We booked twice at Metropole Hotel for our stay. We were very happy with the cleanliness and also we got a non-smoking room at our request. Highly recommended for a 3 stars hotel. We definitely will stay there again.

overall an acceptable stay
conveniently located at the city center, it's just within minutes walk to a few casinos like grand lisboa, wynn ... and so on. it's also within minutes walk to Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro which you can find Largo do Senado and from there you can easily walk to many of the sight-seeing spots.

there's a portuguese restaurant "Solmar" located opposite which worth a visit. check out the casinos and fine cuisines at grand lisboa, wynn, mgm hotels nearby. find out Largo do Senado and expand your visits from there.

the hotel is quite old and small but it locates in the city center. The renovation is needed. You can walk to Senado Square and St. Paul Ruin within 5 minutes. You also can go for Casino which is not far from the hotel by foot. It also has free shuttle bus that will lead you to some places. The extra bed is available for 3 person stay.
Hotel Feature Tip:
to go to hotel, you should show the map or name of hotel in Chinese to a taxi driver cause most of them don't know the hotel name in english.

The hotel is a strategically located at Macao city. It took my family only 5-minute walk to the walking street and square leading us to the ruins of St Paul cathedral. We just walk across the street to New Yaohan- the department store; and of course the New Lisboa & Wynn casino. The lifts are not jammed like other hotels.

we booked 2 rooms for 5 ppl with one extra bed..when we reach the room,one room is ok but another one smells very very bad and we found small cockroach in the room.We asked the staff if we can change the room and luckily,there was still a room available.The staff are nice especially the house attendant who helped us with the room..though he didn't speak good English but he tried his best to satisfied us.
The location of this hotel is very very close to Senado square,only less than 5 mins walk and there's a free shuttle bus to the ferry terminal.

Large and comfortable room at a very good price.
Conveniently located, just opposite New Yaohan. 5 mins walking distance to New Lisboa and Lisboa casino. Provide free shutter bus to ferry terminal. Friendly and helpful staffs.

Really satisfied with the stay in Metropole Hotel. It is really conveniently located. Just 5 mins walk to New Lisboa casino. 20 mins walking distance to "San Ma Lou" and "Tai Sam Ba" - Calcada des Paulo. Staffs are knowledgeable and helpful in giving directions. The price per night is really reasonable. For those who wants to stay in the city centre at a reasonable price, this hotel is highly recommended. The shutter bus will depart every 30 mins.
Travel tip:
To reach the airport free of charge, take the shutter bus provided by the hotel to ferry terminal. There, embark on any shutter bus provided by other hotels. I took the shutter bus to Venetian Casino, and from there, I took Venetian shutter bus to airport. Venetian shutter bus depart every 15 mins.

The hotel average is ok for people overnight for 1 or 2 night. Is near to go anyway like casino.Just walk around 5 minute.
