The hotel is walking distance to Ruins of St. Paul's and Macao Museum. Free shuttle bus is also available to take you to and from the Macao Ferry Station. You can also have your luggage stored in the reception area if you are checking out the hotel and would need to spend more time around Macao.

The Metropole Hotel is centrally located in between the Portuguese old town and the Casino district. All major tourist attractions on Macau Island are in walking distance. The Hotel provides small but clean rooms. We stayed for two days. Standard is not really 4 Star, but if you get a discounted rate it is good value for money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Walking around the Portuguese old town.

A nice warm Hotel to stay
Near township centre, close to Habour and historical monument.

It is gennerally a nice hotel to stay. Most central place attractions are most likely to be within the walking distance. The environment is warm and the service is good. If you spend most of time outside of the hotel, but still willing to spend some money for a nice confortable hotel, this is definately a good choice.

Location, Location
Best thing about this hotel is the proximity to Senado Square and the Inner harbour as I took the ferry to/from Zhuhai - only 15 min walk. Rooms were clean and quiet. The non-smoking floor did not smell of smoke. Staff were relatively friendly.

The Metropole exceeded our expectations for a clean, quiet, well located 3 star hotel. The view out the window was uninspiring but we didn't spend any time in the hotel and we were at the back of the hotel so it was quiet. Being close to buses and Senado Square meant we were able to make the most of our 2 days in Macau.
Restaurant Tip:
Taipa Village is a great place for Portuguese restaurants.

good location spot for those need relax walking distance to some attraction points. Compare with other same type of hotel, the price is ok and fair. Restaurant only Chinese, if possible, hotel should extend the food providing list and try to arrange some shuttle service to some attraction point for those hotel tenant.

Nice stay

Our group of four persons felt very happy to have stayed in the connecting rooms on 8th. floor. Beds are so wonderful as they have hard texture and clean covers. Location is the very best of all we can walk to Senado square within 5 minutes. Lisbua casino is also close. The bathroom is new and clean with hair dryer. The front desk staff can speak well in English and are welcome to provide some useful travel guides.
