Great location with aged rooms
It is very convenient and it is the the only hotel that is so near to Largo do Senado (Macau's Main Sendao Square) and most of the famous sightseeing places like Ruins of St Paul's

the hotel concierge and reception staff are very helpful and took initiative to advise us on means of travelling around. however, the rooms were really old and the beds are quite hard, good for lumbar support though.

the room is nice and big enough for two. basic amenities are available including bottled water, hairdryer, electric pot and refrigerator. the only thing they need to improve is bell service.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Walking distance to senado square, New Yoahan department store, Grand Lisboa and Grand Emperor. Money changer and convenience store are very near.

when we were 1st given the double room on #06, we found no internet access point, no safe in the room, a very old writing table, old carpet. the staff told us we booked standard rooms which does not come with internet access (apprec if agoda could clarify this with the hotel so that other customers will not run into similar problem). eventually we were given rooms with internet access. the beds are very hard (catering to mainland chinese customers). you need to ask for extra softer mattress (subject to availability) to make them acceptable for foreigners like us. very convenient location.

most of them cannot speak English well so you need to prepare some Chinese word card especially the name of the place you plan to go. it will be help you in travelling with public transportation.

Location is so convenient and just walking distance to many tourist spots including casinos.

Metropole Hotel is clean and nice. It is conveniently located and transportation is so easy. The Galaxy bus stops right outside the hotel and you can ride free. Room has free coffee and tea and also complimentary water. Room amenities are almost complete except for the lotion. Though there's no free breakfast, it's so easy to find good and cheap restaurants around the place. I will definitely recomment this hotel to my friends.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Cathedral, Senado, Ruins of St. Paul, San Domingo Church, Court House and Library, Post Office, Wynn Casino and MGM Casino.
