Good location, located nearly Senedo square and many tourist attraction area.
Reasonable price.
Room is quite old but the bath room has already been renovated, Some rooms don't have window. It's my first time to visit Macau, I selected the hotel base on its location,so the Metropole meets my expectation for the area,you can walk to Senado square and Ruin St's Paul church, and also is a walking distance to New youhan department store and many casino, such as Wynn and Grand Lisboa,
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : you may walk to Wynn hotel to see the dancing fountain, however, the show is quite short.

My major reason for selecting this hotel is its location, everything- landmarks, casinos, restaurants, department store, are within walking distance - very convenient. The hotel rooms are value for the money you pay, it is spacious and clean although the furnishings are quite old. Hotel shuttle from the ferry terminal takes more than 30 minutes of turnaround. Housekeeping Service needs improvement, cleaning equipments and used linens are scattered in the hallway when they are cleaning rooms. Great location to stay in Macau, during daytime you can just walk to some historic landmarks, restaurants and shopping areas like the Senado square and New Yaohan Department store- the coffee shop here serves one of the best shawarma I tasted. In the evening you can enjoy the beautiful nightscapes of Macau by walking towards the Grand Lisboa and Wynns Casino Hotel area. You are in the midst of everything in Macau.
Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel has a Chinese resto which is well patronized, although we didn't have time to try the food here, we think it is good because a lot of locals go there.

near puduraya bus station n near 2 MTR station. when i go in citin hotel,the hotel condition in service condition. in lift see not clean. but in room no any comment.
this hotel have free wifi 24 hour in lobby, n we still can use computer in citin restourant.
you also can get drink water at 2 floor.
overall this hotel good couse have good location ,near puduraya bus station n near 2 MTR station

- Hotel signed is difficult to recognize This hotel is in the great location, nearby senado sqaure just for 3 mins walk and many attraction places are there. Room is nice, clean and comfort.
There staffs are very friendly and helpful. They have a service-minded and eager to help us.
Price is very reasonable for tourist. One thing that I would like to recommend is the front fo hotel is too old and should renovate the external building. I always walked pass the hotel coz I cant recognize any hotel signage.

close to casino and tourist attractions. bus routes and free shuttle to venetian Good location and close to casino. lots of food in the alleys and cheap too. short distance to downtown and other casinos. no casino in the hotel itself. bus stop in front of the hotel and you can even go to race track, border gate, ferry terminal etc. bus fare is 3.50mop. the room i was staying has a bit of foul smell in the bath room but clean.and the room is a bit small

I found the location of Metropole Hotel is excellent. It is near to many tourist attractions and many good food can be found nearby. Their staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. However, shuttle bus service from Macau-Hong Kong Terminal during night time was very poor. Anyway, the stay in Metropole Hotel can still be considered a good stay. Metropole Hotel would still be the choice of stay when I visit Macau again.

no english channels on tv.
i would definitely recommend this hotel, good price and good location, very near everything, plus transportation is basically free everywhere, just get to the ferry terminal via the hotel's free shuttle service then transfer to other hotel/casino shuttles and you'll be able to reach all the tourist spots / hotels in macau. of course there is always to option to take a taxi.
Shopping Tip : 5 minute walk to the senado square, 15 minute walk to the wynn hotel / lisboa hotel.

It's easy to go to everywhere. The Hotel sign cannot be find in clearly. I love this hotel because it's near the Senado Square just 5 minutes walk, shopping center (opposit to New Yao Hun Department Store) and Casino Lisboa
Transportation : It's also have the hotel shuttle bus to Airport and ferry terrimal. In case of you cant find the hotel shuttle bus hotel, you can catch the Grand Emperor Shuttle bus because it lacated in opposit side of Metropole Hotel. Moreover, the bus stop is near to the hotel so it's easy to go to everywhere in Macau such as A-Ma temple, Fisherman wharlf and Coloane.
Summary: It's clean, reasonable price and is a pleasant hotel to stay. Metropole makes me a precious memory in Macau. I love u.
Shopping Tip : From hotel, you can go to the Senado Square by turn left from the hotel, then turn left again and go straight along the street, you will find the Senado Square in your right hand side.

Metropole Hotel Macau is a nice hotel good value for our money.It is very convenience to getting around.this is a the first time for us to stay at Metropole.The location is great and perfect.THe survice is quite good.We are definitely go back and stay at Metropole again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : you can getting around by a hotel bus and a casino bus for free!

Newly Renovated and very near Senado Square. Despite the old façade, the rooms are new and modern. The room that I stayed in does not have a wardrobe or hangers to hang my clothes When I took a cab to the hotel, the cab driver told me it's a very old hotel and I was expecting the worst but surprisingly, the rooms have been renovated, looks modern and it comes with a LCD TV too. The hotel is about 5mins walk from Senado Square and 10mins walk to Lisboa Casino so it's very convenient. It's also opposite the huge Yaohan department store.

Nice price at agoda.com, centrally located to all sightseeing & luxury hotels, free shuttle bus from nearby hotel, nice room, helpful staff. What else would you expect? Our family stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Although it's 3 stars and we normally stay at 4-5 star hotel, this hotel is perfect for our trip to Macau. It's in centrally location and can go anywhere for sightseeing or game room at 5 or 6 star hotel only in a short walk. We took shuttle bus of nearby hotel from airport and take only a short walk to hotel, an added advantage. The room is nice. We book two rooms and they give us a connecting room with ample space for our 5-person family. Their staffs are very helpful on giving us nice room and take an extra mile to answer our questions. I've already recommended to my friends to stay at this hotel and so do yours. You could save a lot of money to stay at this hotel and spend money to explore Macau.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : It's only a short walk to Barra Square, Lilau Square, St. Augustine's Square, Senado Square, Cathedral Square, St. Dominic's Square, Company of Jesus Square and Comões Square - and 22 historic buildings - A-Ma Temple, Maritime Museum, Ruins of St Paul, New Yaohan Department Store (you could try their Food Center in 8/f, there are plenty of choices and reasonable price), Macau Museum, Grand Lisboa Hotel, MGM Grand, Sands Hotel, Wyann Hotel, Grand Emperor Hotel. How many days you have in Macau?

Location was very good in the centre of town, close to big casino's Lisboa, Grand Lisboa, Wynn etc.. Also close to restaurants, shops and banks.
Free shuttle bus to Kowloon ferryport from hotel.
Room was large and good value for money. Also close to bus station. Room furnishings / decoration were well worn and needed replacing.
Never saw shuttle bus at ferry port. Unlike some of the other hotels maybe they only have 1 bus. I stayed at the Metropole for 1 night prior to traveling onto Hong Kong. My booking did not include breakfast. There is a restaurant here but I did not use it. I was fairly pleased with the room which was large but furniture needed replacing. Very central location close to more expensive hotels. Many hotels also have casinos, but the Metropole does not. I would stay again at this hotel as it was good value for money. However it is fairly basic, not a place for a romantic break! The staff were very helpful and answered all my questions. The hotels with casinos seem to have many shuttle buses, but the Metropole only had 1 I think!

Good location. Easily accessible to famous tourist spots and shopping. Local delicacies are also found nearby. Foul smell in the room due to old age of its carpet and furnishing, I suppose. Recommend to refurbish the rooms and furnishing. To update TV to LCD. No internet connection facility in the room. Overall a pleasant stay there during our visit for 4 days at the hotel. This is our 2nd time staying in the hotel. Room rate is reasonable. Location is within the shopping arcade like New Yoahan. Also within walking distance is the famous St. Paul. Food is easily available at the nearby area. For convenience, there is a chinese restaurant serving tim sum in the morning on 2nd floor. Overall value for money.

Very good location, nice room Staffs not much friendly, not enough lift The hotel locates at the heart of city, a minute walk to Senado square, good place for food and shopping. Taxi is easily to find in the area, so it's very convenient to go anywhere. New renovated room look nice. Staffs are not much friendly, but it's not a big deal for me here. Just 2 lifts that are not enough for guests. It's a bit jam in the morning.

Location is very nice. I could walk to Senate (Senad)Square in 3 minutes and to Casino Lisboa in 5 minutes. The room was clean and quiet, and the price is good. Totally Metropole Hotel was very good value, I think. - If breakfast were included, it would be great!

Near the hotel, there're inexpensive good local restaurants. And the restaurants in the hotel was also nice.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There's BIG BOSS sauna located in 3 minutes walk from the hotel. It was very comfortable place and I could relax there.
