Metropole is in a great location, really close to Senado Square and the like. The staff and hotel were more than adequate, providing what is expected of a hotel of this kind.
Staff were helpful whenever something needed resolving.

It was quite a pleasure stay in Metropole Hotel. It is just a short walking distance to Senado Square and other great hotels (Lisboa, Wynn)
Travel tip:
there are a lot of free shuttle buses provided by the nearby hotels (e.g. sintra hotel, lisboa hotel, Wynn Hotel) from the ferry terminals and across Taipa & Macau island.

The room quite small. TV's remote cannot use every room. Hotel has the good services. Staff cannot speak english but they have service mind and very good. Don't have breakfast.

Metropole Hotel Macau is in the good location and can walk to Senado Square and Lisboa Hotel in 3 minutes walk. For the room is a little bit old room and no complementary at all even drink water.

This hotel is conveniently located to many tourist attractions. But it offers little comfort; the room is small and the bed is hard. We had a small room without window! Our room had some strange suffocating odor.

I wouldn't recoomend this hotel to anyone, especially to the old. the bed was as hard as a rock on a mattress..the shower was broken,and the carpet smells awful. The hallway of the hotel to the rooms, was untidy,and no one even cared,,to fixed it up.the staff couldn't speak or understand english,,and would even just hang up the phone or doesn't answer,when you call

The location of the hotel itself, less than 1km to reach Senado Sq

it was a good holiday, we choose the correct hotel, its easy to find and reach. you dont have to take a bus to go to the st. paul's ruins and explore the churches nearby. if you feel enough for the 'heavenly' business, you can try the 'hell' one, by visiting lots of casinos just by walk, see the dancing water in front of wynn's see the golden tree comes up from the floor and other amazing stuffs, and its because we choose metropole hotel, just in the middle of the city of macau.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you want to explore the city you can take the shuttle buses provided by hotels and casinos in Macau, and its free!

Value-for-Money Hotel
Great location. Walking-distance to Largo Senado area. Free shuttle bus to Ferry Terminal.

metropole hotel is a perfect choice if you look for value-for-money hotel. eventhough it looks old and the bed is hard, it has great location. and the free shuttle bus is really helpful and easy.

The room are standard, clean and tidy. But this building is a bit old, it have some smelling, but still not too bad. Service is quite ok, they offer for guest to call Macau telephone number free of charge. And just within walking distance, u can reach some famous iternary, and by walking can get shutter bus to City of Dreams hotel. The price is reasonable. Just the reception response is a bit slow while we check in. perhaps it's because only person working, and they deal with a bunch of people.Overall, I satisfy with this hotel.
