near to Senado Square where it is a shopping street and there is a lot of attractions and restaurants both chinese and Portuguese.Only 5 mins walk to senado.Also near to New Yaohan department store and casino Grand Emperer about 5 mins walk. Room is good , clean, and have basic facilities.have fridge and dryer in room.Shuttle bus to ferry terminal every 30 mins. The furniture is quite old but not too bad and no free drinking water in room. you must check in after 1 pm maybe the room is not clean yet. near to Senado Square where it is a shopping street and there is a lot of attractions and restaurants both chinese and Portuguese.Only 5 mins walk to senado.Also near to New Yaohan department store and casino Grand Emperer about 5 mins walk. Nightlife Tip : Whynn Casino is beautiful you must go there.it is the second choice apart from Venetians. Many Luxury shop and restaurant. free fountain show in front of the hotel.

The room is nice and in good location. The staff there is nice and near to tourist spot area. This hotel have a good location which is near to all tourist spot area like the st paul church, and all the big casino. The room also nice and have a big space which worth with the money that we pay for the hotel.

the hotel is very convenience n nearby to tourist hotspot do not have free shuttle bus to airport. This was the second time i stayed in this hotel. On my previous visit to macau last year, i stayed in this hotel. It is very convenience n nearby to macau tourist hotspots. Unfortunately, it do not provide free shuttle bus to airport but only to the pier. There is no any sign in the pier to tell us where should us wait for the free hotel shuttle bus, make us need to take taxi to the hotel. Hope that this can improve.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : 大三巴is just around the corner and to the famous portugese's tart just 5 mins walk.

center of the city.. is easy to get to everywhere.. nice location.. so far nothing to be compain.. this hotel is located in the center of the city where we can walk to nearby square to have our free and easy walk. Besides, the location is strategic that we can get public transport to travel around macau and i would say it is convenient. The environment of the hotel is friendly also where it is clean, and the staff provide responsible job.

great location, in center of macau, shopping mall areas, cleaning room, large room, service the best. The hotel was stay in center of macau. you can walk to senado and other interesting place. also a lot of shopping . I was forgot my bag on hotel bus from ferry teminal to the hotel but I got back from staff of hotel, oh was happy and glad from hotel service.
the rooms are clean and large. I will back to stay here again and SURE

location, value for money and good tim-sum restaurant. staff, lack of warmth. not so friendly. pls encourage them to smile!!! it was a big difference compare to the last time i stayed there in 2007. the upgrading and renovation of the hotel has enhanced the stay. the internal facelift has made me feel more at home and comfortable. the location of the hotel is a plus point to encourage more travellers to stay there, with Senoko Square and St Paul ruins so nearby.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : scout round the back lanes/alley of Seneko Square, there're plenty of nice food along the way.

Near to town and within walking distant to most tourist attractions, esp. old buildings and St. Paul Ruins. Hotel is a bit old. Not as clean as expected. Washroom leaked at the ceiling. Shower head also leaked at the side. The main good point of this hotel is that it is in town. One can walk to see most of the historic sites, incl. St. Paul Ruins as well as to some casinos located in town, e.g., Grand Lisboa etc. On the other hand, the hotel seemed not well kept. Rooms smelled stale. Service was not as good as expected. We checked in at 1 pm but the rooms were not really. We went for a a walk and lunch and back to the hotel again. One of the rooms was still not ready at 3 pm. The TV is the room was also very old and TV recpetion was not that clear.

The good and reasonable price on the great location. Carpet and the cleaner atmoshere need to be improve. The hotel location is great and easy for any tourist to travel in the city. It is so convenience to walk around and see all the city life. It's near Senado square and useful hotel to walk and site seeing.
Hotel Feature Tip : The staff can not speaking English well and they need everything on paper. You need to prepare and print out ALL the booking vouchure and show them exactly what you did.

Great location,convenience and easy to find. No braeckfast support and dirty carpet. The group is so happy to stay in this hotel as the great location. It is near Sinando square and the shopping area too. We love the location that can be walk around for shoppong and local food market too.

The location is so awesome and we can go everywhere from the hotel easily. The transportation offer by the hotel is only one van and driving around which is not convenience for our team. Sometime we have to wait over than a hour for the van too. The transportation should be develope and the facilities of the hotel should be much cleaner. We prefer to suggest that the staff at front office should have more coordination idea. We stuck at the front counter for haft an hour just for check in.

near by city center, only 3 minutes walk. the staff should be more polite. The location is perfect because the hotel is located in the area of the city center. You can walk from the hotel to St.Paul. Many public buses that go around Macau pass by the hotel. Of course, the cleanliess is ok. The price that I paid is suitable. Only the staff that I want them to improve. Actually, they are ok but if they are more polite, it must be perfect.

Location wise is very convenient. Easy access to supermarket, shopping mall, casino hotel, dining spots and disco-club. Quite worn-down, not easily sighted from among the buildings, hard beds, odored pathways and unfriendly staff. This hotel has a very good location for a 3-star hotel in Macau city-state. Very short distances to all major amenities like supermarkets, shopping malls, casino hotels, dining spots and disco-clubs. Value for money for location-wise but not to the extend with regards to the hotel's comfort and its lingering stench along its pathways. Would recommend this hotel to budget travelers and backpackers but not to families and couples.

Great location for Downtown Casinos We have slept on softer park benches. Macau is not a cheap place to stay. Anywhere else this hotel would get 1 star. Booking with Agoda must be one of the lowest rates in town.
Very drab and gloomy appearance from the outside and tired looking inside.
Most uncomfortable night - we couldn't sleep due to impossibly hard beds.
We didn't dine - the Restaurant looked like a cafe.
Can't imagine anyone making a repeat booking, most of the guests appear to be tour parties

Great Location.
Clean Bed and Bath. This was my first trip to Macau. The city itself was quite disappointing me, but the food and this hotel, the Metropole, are beyond my expectation. The location of this hotel is super convenient and it's just renovated (My guess). Even though the room is quite small, bed and bath are clean and tidy, especially the bathroom. Overall it's
one of the value-for-money on my list and I will definitely book the Metropole again the next time I come back to Macau.

Good location - very near Senado Square, close to bus stops, restaurants and shops are in walking distance. Reasonable room rate. Night shift lady staff not so friendly, not so helpful either. Morning shift staff are much better. If you are tourist and need a place to stay with reasonable room rate. Metropole is what you look for. The location is close to shopping center, restaurants, bus stops, and places of interest around Senado Square in walking distance. Though the room is very small, but since you will not spend much time in the hotel, I think it is acceptable. I didn't try other hotel facilities such as restaurant, but I saw many people eat there so I guess it is ok. There is a shuttle bus to and from Macau Ferry Terminal which is convenient. The only weak point I can find is that the hotel staff, specially night shift, isn't friendly and helpful as I thought it should be.
Restaurant Tip : If you go to Senado Square, try cold milk pudding at Leitaria / Son.
