In Macau it can be difficult to find a mid-range hotel on a budget - The Metropole is just that. We had to book at the last minute and they were able to accomodate us with a cosy and clean room. There were some language barriers when communicating with the staff, and the 'complimentary in room water' was charged to my card. The wake-up call came an hour too early, but at least was better than an hour too late.....
