Attentive Staff and Unforgettable Stay
good location, near to the ferry terminal and also airport, free shuttle from/to selected area, big clean room & bed, rainshower, great view, good restaurants

Basically, I hardly find any negative feedback about this hotel. The reservation staff is doing great job to meet my request. The personalize services and attentive staff from the day check in until the moment I get onto the taxi was indeed excellent! The rainfall shower is fantastic and also the big comfort bed. They have lovely restaurants serve great food which must try out and we are so impressed with the decoration at the walkway (indoor garden) to casino which is so amazed as the sweet aroma arouse from the flowers is so beauty! The cons are there is no bathrobe in room and no shuttle bus to Macau Airport. However, I would still rate MGM as 5 stars hotel with 5 stars services despite whether it’s my pure luck on this perfect encounter! Definitely will return again.
Restaurant Tip:
Must try out their restaurants for the good food which i enjoy the most at Rossio for buffet dinner.

Attentive services
has a beautiful indoor garden, attentive services, free shuttle bus from harbor

everything was nice. the only bad experience i had was when i was leaving, i have a lot of small bags of stuff that i bought from all over the place in Macau. I requested a bag to put all the things together, but the hotel guy look at their drawer a while and told me they don't have bag there anymore. And then i asked again whether they can arrange or help about it, but he just said they don't have bag anymore.
But besides this bad experience, overall it is still a pleasant stay, nice and spacious room, good services, beautiful place.
another good point is, McDonald is just opposite of the hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
大炮台Fortaleza do Monte offer a very good view of Macau in 360 panorama. Sure worth to pay a visit.

extremely good location. 10 minutes taxi ride to anywhere in downtown macau and all other attractions. 15 minutes ride to airport, provided traffic is good. many other casinos and hotels within the vicinity such as wynn, grand lisboa, etc. casino is massive and if you do manage to get bored, head across the street to wynn. hotel also provides bus services to the china border, airport and ferry terminal. room service was excellent.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you have time to spare, head to the Chinese border and cross over to Zhuhai. Some attractions and things get relatively less expensive there. Or alternatively, catch a ferry to Hong Kong from the Ferry Terminal.

bad experience with the staff in the restaurant

room was nice and clean even though I have expected bigger room and bigger bed. However i got very bad experience while having dinner buffet at their restaurant - I went the the sushi counter and asked the staff to give me more sashimi when he put on his unhappy face, took my plate impolitely and threw his chopstick after putting few pieces of fishes on my plate. I was really shocked at how the staff at "that kind of a 5 star hotel" treated me. That was really a very bad experience and I don't think i want to stay in mgm again.

Great service, large rooms, fantastic "rain" shower and lovely views

an absolutely fantastic hotel with nice big rooms, complete with a large (42" we think) lcd screen, multifunction telephones, large bathroom with "rain" shower. the hotel is located along the beach, which means it's far from macau's tourist sights. we'd recommend catching a cab or taking a walk through mgm's casino, the wynn hotel's casino etc.. it'll take approximately 15 minutes.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Perhaps one of the better shopping centres to see is the "Grand Canal Shoppes", located in Taipa, the other side of Macau. There must be other ways to get there, but we used the MGM"s Macau Jetty shuttle to get back to Macau Jetty, then the Venetian Hotel shuttle to get to the hotel, which the Grand Canal Shoppes abuts. Just do the reverse to get back to the MGM hotel.

Good casio in the hotel for those who want to try their luck. Brand new hotel with contemporary design in the guest room with spectacular veiw. In general, the hotel is a great 5 star hotel. However, the check in time is 3pm and the check out time is 11am, so some planning ahead is needed to ensure there is place to rest before departure and upon arrival.
