This historical hotel was originally the Fortaleza da Barra fortress built by the Portuguese to defend Macau against pirates and invaders in the 17th century. A century later a chapel was dedicated to St. James at the same site. The Pousada De Sao Tiago Hotel is situated in a posh residential area near the A-Ma Temple, Maritime Museum and Gate of Understanding. It is ideal for travelers who want to explore Macau's entertainment and shopping hub. The hotel offers just 20 rooms and 12 suites, most of which overlook the bay. Mega comfortable (all suites) and quiet No views and expensive for Macau Pousada de Siao Tiago is well located for everything that is going on in Macau, the rooms are mega comfortable (all suites) and the staff try to help. It just isn't good value for money - there are other hotels which offer comfort which cost less. It is not a destination hotel so the rooms are not so important. I wouldn't pay the premium again.

the very special situation of the hotel. it is a quiet and the rooms are functional, with spacious kitchen superbe.la decor is excellent, a very good reception. it (ya no lift and it lacks a dryer in the bathroom. breakfast is a bit too stiff a little imagination and flexibility to the service would be welcome. benefits very refined, very beautiful decoration, the site is surprisingly calm and rstauration is good. the staff is smiling. small pool well maintained. I come back.
