The best hotel in all of thailand

This was easily the best hotel we stayed at in the whole of our month long trek around Thailand. The staff are all gorgeous and friendly, the restaurant creates beautiful meals with even better cocktails, the rooms are modern with an ethnic Thai feel, the bathroom was beautiful, the room came with absolutely everything we needed and more (drinks on arrival, fly spray, mozzy stick, bath robes and more). If your looking for a relaxing stay in Chiang Mai - only stay here.
Restaurant Tip:
Eat every meal at the hotel restaurant - 'The Canal'

Pousada Marina Infante Hotel,

Getting a taxi is a pain. Even though the concierge tried calling for one, none of the taxi's are willing to come to the hotel.
Breakfast was the same, everyday that we stayed (4 nights)
No pick-up or drop to the airport by the Hotel (unlike Venetian or other hotels)
No shops or dining outlets nearby.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you plan on sightseeing Macau, then you are better off by staying in Macau city than in Taipa.

A Hidden gem that's value for money
Located away from the noisy, crowded tourist areas.

The hotel is tucked out there just across the soon-to-open Galaxy which will enhance the value of the Pousada since its also near enough to the Venetian, Four Seasons, City of Dreams. It may seem out of the way but since there's a shuttle to the ferry terminal its also convenient to move around. Taxis are not a problem, the concierge can just call one for you. Staff is very friendly and the buffet breakfast is okay. It can get crowded during breakfast due to the large tour groups which book in the hotel. Amenities are alright. The hotel has a very good chinese restaurant.
Hotel Feature Tip:
You can request the hotel shuttle driver to drop you off across the entrance to the Venetian or the City of Dreams. The food court at both the Venetian and the City of Dreams have wide selection of very good food.

this is our 2nd hotel in our one week vacation and we can say that changing hotel is really a good choice for us, value for money with satisfaction!!! we stayed here from 16-19 january 2011, we can say that we had a great time, family bonding, the indoor pool give as a relaxing stay, even it's winter we had fun swimming at night.
i can say that the hotel has a peaceful ambiance and good for us coz we have a little one. and it is very near to the big attraction in macau. when the galaxy opens this hotel will blast for its location! :))
the hotel facilities and room amenities gave us satisfaction like...24hr room service, bicycle rental,coffee shop, concierge, laundry service/dry cleaning, restaurant, safety deposit boxes, air conditioning, bathtub, complimentary bottled water, hair dryer, mini bar, non smoking rooms, television; moreover the sports and recreation garden, gym, indoor pool, sauna, steamroom
the hotel has a shuttle bus which can bring us to the biggest casino like venetian and city of dreams and also bring us to macau ferry terminal, that's why when we visit hongkong, it is so convenient for us and when we also explore the macau city so easy coz there is a lot of buses in the macau ferry teminal which can lead us to all major tourist spots.
the staff of marina infante always serve us with a smile and it is very welcoming for us
one more thing is the breakfast they serve is a buffet american-macanese-chinese mix cuisine! so it gave us a perfect and value for money relaxing vacation!

Actually, the hotel is too remote. Although it says it is near the busy street, it should be take their shuttle bus and is too far if on foot. For wireless / wired network, the hotel provides no free service and pre-paid card should be bought instead. The room is tidy, clean and good view indeed.
