This is our second time to stay at this hotel. We had a good time during the first stay last June 2008 so we decided to book the same hotel the second time. We even convinced a couple of friends to join us in this trip and they liked the hotel too! The hotel looks and smells clean. The room is big and clean. We thought the location is very convenient and okay to walk at night. We will book the same hotel the next time we come again.

Location-very convenient. It is very close to other casinos, just a short walk to Senado square for shopping and church. Clean and courteous staff- from lobby to the rooms, the place is very clean. Sheets are crisp white clean. Room smells nice and clean too.

Food- our breakfast was really good but could have been better if there is more variety. Elevator- sometimes, it takes a long time for elevators to open.

Hotel is well located and fairly central with Wynn casino and Starworld just across the road.

Location - conveniently located opposite the Wynn Casino and Starworld Rooms were spacious (I upgraded to a suite)

Had to pay for Room Service in cash Taxis not as familiar with the hotel

Presidente - Below expectations.... Guest Rating: 2.5

Presidente hotel was a disappointment from the moment we landed there. We were traveling in a group of 6 and reached much after the check in time of 2 pm but the hotel rooms were not ready. The reception staff was not helpful in suggesting places to visit and the hotel has a weird policy - you cannot sit in the lobby without ordering something or paying minimum charge of HKD 20!! I will not recommend the hotel at all...

After reading the reviews by past guests I decided to book this hotel & was pleasantly surprised the room was Fantastic the front desk staff very helpful & tried to answer all our questions. Would recommend it to friends.

We Booked the Deluxe room for a couple of extra dollars & it was well worth it...huge room best I have stayed in for a long time.

No real cons, you can always pick faults in anything.

• Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You can jump on the local bus out the back of the Hotel & it will take you all over the Island.

Everything is fine. The room is not so big. It is acceptable as it is budget type hotel. The breakfast included is not buffet type. Only some micro-oven reheated bread and normal coffee. There is still many other great choices in Macau. This one is ok with its accessibility and proximity to major casinos.

The hotel check in was efficient and was allocated a non smoking room on 16th floor. Adequate size room, clean, nothing luxurious. The Chinese restaurant on the 1st floor serves good dim sum at fair price. The in house casino was smallish but the Grand Lisboa, Wynn and other casinos are all in vicinity. The American breakfast served was acceptable.

None really, could be cheaper?

• Travel tip : To go to ferry point and other casinos take buses at Wynn casino across the road which run more frequently than that at Presidente.

I visited the Presidente Hotel in Macau with my girlfriend. We were well received by the hotel personal. Our room (suite) was very big and clean and the hotel was situated directly in front of the Wynn Casino. The breakfast was of poor quality and the choice was limited (no buffet).

Very nice and clean hotel, though I'd say it is not worth 4 stars - 3.5 maybe. Not much entertainment inside, but all main casinos and night life NAPE district within 10-20 mins walk. Easy check-in and check-out - we didn't even show the voucher. But the safe deposit is 500 MOP (80 USD) - is taken in cash, or charged/cancelled to your CC. The main bus terminal with buses to all directions is only 5 mins walk along the road. Enjoyed the stay, will recommend to every single traveler / buddies. Not very nice for married couples though, due to lots of annoying girls in the main lobby restaurant after 10 pm.

Good location, on main street, close to main casinos: Grand Lisboa, MGM, Grand Waldo, close to main bus terminal, 20 mins walk from Macau tower. Sharp and welcome staff, with good English knowledge. Very nice and cheap Chinese restaurant on 2nd floor.

No minibar and safe box in standard room. Poor breakfast choice. Not very large casino.

• Nightlife Tip : If you like No Limit Hold'em Poker - go to Grand Lisboa, 7 mins walk. The only place in Macau where hold'em is available. Go to NAPE (15 mins walk) to listen to live band.

Presidente Hotel - Macau Guest Rating: 3.5

Cafe staff rejected my request of taking a seat while waiting for my shuttle as the seats (only 6)in the lobby were all occupied. Especially so when only one table is occupied by patrons.

Location is fantastic for business travelers. Food is easily accessible. Front desk staffs were polite and know their work well.

Breakfast served would have been great if it was a buffet rather than a set menu. Cafe staff were not professional in their way of handling guests - Not service oriented.

• Travel tip : Staff should be flexible with regards to regulations especially to an in-house guest.

Stay at President Hotel Macau Guest Rating: 3.8

Hotel with a decent size room with clean sheets, towels. Toiletry are replenished daily if used. Location next to Wynn and Starworld Casinos offer advantages of free and frequent transport to Ferry Terminal and the China Border Crossing besides ease of access to gaming amusement.

Central location; clean room with clean sheets and towels. Friendly staff at Reception and Restaurant

Complimentary bus service starts after 10.00 am and at half-hourly interval and give access to the Ferry Terminal only.
