Very nice hotel

Stayed in a superior harbour view for one night. The staffs were very helpful and can speak english well. The room was very clean, well equipped with the basic needs , and i also find the room very girly which i kinda like. although the location is far(just a 10-15 min cab) from the "action" of macau city, you can still try some local restaurants just across the hotel.The hotel is also 10 mins away from the venetian, galaxy and the macau airport.
I just hope that wifi access will be for free next time :)

Hotel is close to Ferry pier. The room size is average with 2 twinplus beds. Nice view of water,bridges and casinos all lit up at night. Breakfast buffet is mix of western and chinese
dishes. Plenty of food! They have 2 computers for everyones use in lobby next to buffet.
The pool is closed for repairs till sometime in March.
Room tv and fridge worked fine.
Restaurant Tip:
take the public bus 25 or 26 out to portugues resturant fernando on the beach!! great ride by all the casino. fernandos has great food!! dont let the service bother you!

a good hotel

Regency Hotel Macau was a good hotel which located at the Taipa Island and conveniently reached the Cotai pier with about 10 minutes by taxi.
We felt relaxing of staying there because of the quiet environment and sufficient facility and equipment. We also loved to walk around the hotel.

most of the well known hotels were expensive so i needed a cheaper alternative as i really just needed a bed as i explore macau. price is inflated because all the big names charge astronomical prices. knew going in this was an older hotel and it showed. simply put it's a 3* hotel and you get what you paid for. nothing special, from service, breakfast, 'resort', room, amendities, even the shuttle.
so all in all if you need a bed and it's a good deal, this does the trick but if you want the glamour, casinos etc, it's not the choice.
it's next to both altira and new century
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
take advantage of the new century or altira shuttles if you cant find this hotel's shuttle, but we also made use of numerous local buses as the stop is right outside of the hotel...more of a 'local' way of sightseeing

Strategic Location
spot on, right in between taipa & macau city ideal for exploring the area.

the hotel service is acceptable, strategic location and transportation service every hour during daytime.
reasonable rates, decent rooms and nice service.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
A bus ride away from the Macau Science Center and the ruins, must see!

Great Hotel with good service

this hotel is not very crowded but still have a nice service. the hotel is not expensive compared to the other hotels in macau. however, this hotel can't compare among the luxurious hotels in macau. for it's 4 star hotel, this hotel is very competitive is still good. the staff is polite and very helpfull. the view from the room is good and the rooms are spacious. it is a little far from the great venetian, but grab a taxi it is just like 5-10 minutes, taking into account that macau isnt that big.
