quite and nice breakfast at hotel !!
don't forget to order oxtail soup at the hotel restaurant ! great food.

rooms are very nice, spaceous and clean, great ! i feel very safe satying at this hotel and easy to go what ever we want to go in macau, shuttle bus always ready with very good time planning. the staff was very friendly and very good for traveller who cannot speak mandarin, they will guide you very nice and passions ! thanks alot for thats. by walking in surrounding the hotel we will feel somethings about macau, especially in food knowledges and casinos.
Restaurant Tip:
as my favorits menu for lunch, please trying to taste steam fish and knuckle pork ala cantonnes, it will have diffrent experiences when we were out from macau ! it was great to have that kind of specialities in macau.

it is a family - friendly hotel, with excellent staff, and good shuttle bus connection to main places of macau. it is about 15min driving from macau centre, and has a free bus every hour. it has clean, but old rooms, but you can stay easily, if you want just a place to sleep. this is not a luxury hotel.

Its a bit difficult to travel to the hotel as some of taxi driver did not know the new name of the hotel (no shutter bus for Regency Hotel to and fro Airport). The taxi charges is about HKD 42 from airport to hotel. The location is good as plenty of shop located nearby and most bus pass by the area (perfect for budget traveller like me). But hotel having poor computer for us to surf or go online.

We called from the airport at midnight asking for a shuttle or directions but failed to get them properly. We understand that it was 11:50 in the evening but the Hotel should have atleast Basic English speaking attendants as visitors from around the globe are storming Macau right now. The hotel is quite pricey for having no Shuttle arrangments and English Speaking Attendants.

we did enjoy staying in regency hotel because of the environment.
but it should be great if : -
1) frequency shuttle bus should be arranged every 15 mins (now only 1 per hour)
2) two bottles of water / english tea bags / coffee should be arranged for each room per day.
3) the tap is out model, it is hard to pull out for elderly.

One of the best value for money hotels on Taipa.
Located on Taipa the Regency is a good distance from the bright lights of Venetian strip and Macau. However, if you want a quiter relaxing stay but only a short taxi ride to the fun and games, the Regency is ideal. The food is delicious especially the spare ribs a must for meat lovers. The staff are efficient and very friendly at all times and always willing to help. It has its own spa, pool with tennis and squash for the active visitor.

The top floor room had a great view and although rated 5 star is a little tired so 4 would be closer. The hotel staff were very helpful especially the door staff and concierge. Their English was not great but functional and at all times friendly. On Taipa island its a little out of the "action" of the Casinos but maybe that was a good thing. Great night time views of the main island lights and the Grand Lisboa Casino.

the breakfast is adequate nothing fanciful. the staff however are helpful. i rate this a 3 star hotel, value for money and recommended for those who are not too fussy and require a decent place to sleep and relax.
